Excellent Response pmjh, good luck and stay safe!
All we need is a little patience and to trust in our own research. As the days count down to news/results, there will be more and more posters who will have their own agendas. These guys will try to fill the board with drivel, in a bid to cloud the board and influence. Ask yourself why is that?
The facts for me are the following.
-World class and well respected scientists in the respiratory field.
-A company that has been focused on improving respiratory conditions for the last 15 years.
-A novel and easily delivered potential treatment.
-Best in class and gold standard phase two results to date.
-Positive research papers over the last year on interferon from across the globe, from well respected organisations and scientists.
-Phase 3 trial has started.
-UK, urgent fast track on phase 3 trial.
-US FDA, fast track trial on phase 3 trial.
-87 million raised.
-Home trial completed and awaiting results.
The potential possibilities in my view.
-USA home trial.
-Active 2 inclusion.
-Early authorisation.
-Government preorders.
It’s important to note, that a successful phase 3 is not a given, however based on recent early authorisations, it doesn't need to be as good as the phase 2 results, it just needs to save lives and show reasonable efficacy.
For me Interferon has legs and whilst there’s always a risk in everything you do, in my view, it is now weighted in our favour.
From the beginning of covid, it was important for me to only invest in companies which had a solid board of directors with integrity and in my view Synairgen fits that bill..
Stay safe and hold strong.
Ghia, Agree with you on that one, in my opinion being humble is class, leaves a bad taste in my mouth when I hear people gloating on others losses.
Smokie, absolutely nothing wrong at all with anyone taking a profit, it’s sensible and all relative to their individual circumstances, certainly not weak!
In regards to today’s SP, I’d be happy with 1.75 close
Good luck all and stay safe
Ray, I’ve tried similar dummy sells, but had to drop it in blocks of 100, can I ask what broker you deal with?
Thanks
Bella, I know that can happen and maybe it was done by the US guys, with that volume there would have been more than a couple doing it, which again is possible I know.
Ghia, yes totally accept your point and yes it’s perfectly feasible. But they’d be sitting there thinking who is shorting it and reacting accordingly..I just found it odd, but you’ve both put reasonable explanations and both could be right.
Appreciate your comments, thanks
I’m amazed and perplexed at the same time, that since the placing, officially only polar have taken part in the funding In a meaningful way (re the previous TR1 prior to the recent 2.5m shares), I find it hard to believe the rest are just funds or II’s with small amounts, it just doesn’t add up to me?? We changed broker and you’d of thought there would have been more interested parties lined up willing to take larger stakes, wouldn’t you? I have feeling this will be answered in time.. Trust in Synairgen and stay strong.
Good luck all
CW, I think Activ2, will take us north of that, due to the possibility of pre orders and the scale that could be, a very recent example the order on Regeneron?
Good luck and stay safe!
I just cannot see the US sitting on their hands on this, at the risk other countries get the jump on them, therefor I think news on the start will come a lot sooner than people think. Everything is aligning for Synairgen just at the right time and they’ll become a big part of the solution going forward.
Tortoise and the hare spring to mind, slow and steady.
In Synairgen we trust!
Stay safe all.
AstraZeneca report just out on sky news, asking for their employee's to be vaccinated In advance, due to concerns over staffing levels. To me it’s sounds so obvious that you have to protect the team who are producing it, surely?
Just been watching Nadhim Zahawi, Minister for the vaccine rollout being quizzed, he was extremely evasive and wouldn’t commit his body language was very telling, unfortunately I think they’ll be problems ahead. My take on it is they won’t hit their target and delays inevitable..
Let’s just take a moment to say a big hello to our supportive posters Scinv, Faye Commie, why-lie, dumbpunter, etc etc etc, noticeable in their absence.
Activ2 has always been the prize here, not long to wait!
Trust in Synairgen and believe... good luck all and stay safe!
I’ve held all my shares since March and have accumulated along the way to a very sizeable chunk.
Believe in the Management, believe in the science, trust in Synairgen.. Good luck over the next few weeks and months to all the patient lth’s
I see Clinigen have appointed Sam Herbert as COO and he will be based in the U.K.
“Sam has an AB in Economics (cum laude) from Harvard College and is a Non-Executive Director of 7Bridges, an innovative AI-driven logistics platform company”
I think it’s a great day today and It was the big news we have been waiting to clear, we’re on for some sustained growth now and potentially news in the next 2 trading sessions. Good luck all..
Mr Big, they may tax any gain once the investor crystallises the investment and has made profit over a tax cycle, if any.
For example, at present, If you owned a single buy to let house and you earn profit on the property you will be required to declare and it will be taxed, if you do not make anything on it in that tax year you are unable to offset that against your self assessment tax liability. No advice intended, just a view.
Hi Golf, That’s pretty much on the mark! they are potentially looking to tax any profits from investments at an individuals normal tax rate and not just the straight forward CGT current calculation, I had a meeting with my accountants Friday evening in regards to this and they believe that it will be done on the 3rd of March and will be effective Immediately.
I’ve been in this share since early March and hold in weight and have followed the board daily.
For what it’s worth, I believe in the SNG management and pretty much convinced on the science. Good luck everyone
