My assumptions..

- Critical path built and already briefed in to trial sites by Parexel

- 20 sites live on home trial (1/5th of total sites available)

- each site enrols 10 patients in total over 5 days

- 3 days for admin and delivery

- 200 patients live in 5 days

- if we believe what the Kansas guys said on it filling quickly and relate that back to our trial.

- last patient dosed by 19th feb

Whilst I know this looks ambitious, I think it’s achievable, this trial is a different set up to the U.K. and backed by the big boys.

It’s all helped by the economies of scale and the fact that Parexel will want to show their worth..

When I was watching it yesterday, all the language was pointing to that the trial had started...

The other interesting comment from yesterday was “it’s filling up fast, so be quick and call this number..”

This trial will be filled very very fast indeed!

I also think they’ve already started, posted my thoughts earlier today, they’re recruiting at pace, so why once people have enrolled, would they then ask them to wait as we need to announce it before we start treating you?? That’s just not going to happen and doesn’t make sense, especially after specifically stating trial candidates would need to enrol 24-72hrs after symptoms!

I do think though, there will be some kind of update from the US or Synairgen on the progress etc.

I’m thinking the trial has already started, why else would they recruit people so early on and then wait to give them the treatment.. They wouldn’t would they? So to me, that’s clear they’re trialing these treatments now.

Appreciate there are two other treatments available, but they all need patients treated early and they spent a fair bit of time on interferon.

I’ve only ever filtered two people and before I filter anyone, I take the time to look back at their history and try to find any reason why I shouldn’t or what their motives are...

I can see many green boxes tonight and judging from other posters comments, it’s Scinv.

If you look back on scinv’s history and then match that to the volume, trades and impending news, you will see there’s a pattern that emerges..

These posters are in my mind deliberate disrupters and their main aim is to flood the board, so everything else is lost in the fog, hence the number of posts tonight.

I think the silence is deafening from the Gov, however I also think, part of the reason, could be that they are desperately trying to stay on message, the minute they come off message, it’ll become increasingly harder to keep joe public’s on side and for them to hit vaccination targets.

As sure as eggs are eggs, they’ll eventually have to come off message and move to therapeutics alongside vaccines.

It was only Friday that the U.S officially passed Joe Biden’s financial package, you can’t spend money you haven’t got, can you?

Maybe a very simplistic view, but one to consider, I would say.

I’m thinking news on Activ2 will be this week, now the financial side of things have been put to bed, with Fauci formally announcing it in the U.S.

I’m relaxed, in no rush and have plenty of patience.

Synairgen have played it pretty well so far and seem to have a knack of seeing how things will unfold in regards to Covid, before they do.

Sit back, relax and trust in the BOD.

I remember reading a certain board back in early April, you’d always finish your post with Trek £1.., it use to make laugh, in a nice way ;). I bought £10,000 of those back then and sold out a few weeks ago..I’ve also done ok on a couple of those testing co’s too..

For what it’s worth this is my view and before I say anything, please know I hold in weight and believe Sng will come good, However, this is still a risk with a potential to free fall if p3 results are not what’s expected, please think long and hard about what you are doing and at your first opportunity take some off the table, do not ride it out until the end, Aim is like the Wild West!! There will be many other opportunities that will come along, so maybe keep some powder dry as soon as you can!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Richard say (in the webinar I think?) that he was being assisted in the process by a big name we would all recognise, but was asked not to divulge their name at this point in time, Interested on views??

What really struck me in the recent interview, was the comment Richard made...

“Tens of, if not hundreds of thousands of treatment courses per month, this year”

The last time he mentioned manufacturing, it was only 100,000 per month, so there’s a bit of a step change there as he mentions “hundreds of thousands” and not “a hundred thousand”

It’s that part, that I find very interesting and to me is the key takeaway from the whole interview.

It doesn’t really matter what the SP is over the next few days, if you’re here for the medium to long term, the SP will take care of itself.

If you’ve been in a while, you’ve gone through the toughest times. What we all need to recognise now, is that for Synairgen to be accepted on to the Activ2 trial, we would of had to demonstrate the ability to upscale the manufacturing process at speed.

The US were never going to sit by and miss the boat, particularly with the current numbers over there. In my view, they will also now be seriously thinking about their next steps and scaling up the treatment, if successful.

Whilst I’m no scientist, it was obvious that IFN would be part of the solution, the research papers were coming thick and fast, all positive for IFN.

I’ve always looked at things from a business point of view and always asked myself, “what I would do with that amount evidence in front of me”
For me, it would now be about securing a supply and possibly trying to get my foot in the door early, if successful.

I think the next Bit of news will be very interesting and will again move us north.

I may well get shot down for my next comment, but, I say as I see... do not rule out the U.K. and their next steps with Synairgen, I believe they’ll surprise a few people , as they also won’t want to be seen to be sitting on their hands, with others getting the jump on them.
