Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Skid,
RNS of 6th clearly shows position after transaction was holding of 6.9%.
Can only assume previous holdiding was belew 3% reportable and hence didn't have to be reported on this RNS as Prior Position.
Anyone have a view on Herald Investment Management Limited's purchase of 6.9% of KMK ? I've lost interest in my holding of this share as its value has dwindled to near zero, but still have hopes that, one day, someone will properly commercialise its proprietary technology.
Finally, this company is showing a recovery in business. Good volumes today too.
I find in hard to believe that "the professionals" that paid 11.50 in the fund raise of November misjudged the value of the company to such a degree. I've bought more today at 9.52 so hope it works out....
Indeed seems a strange Retail Offer given where the SP sits currently, but then maybe the price suggested by the un-named suitors provided a marker?
" Since the trading update of 2 October 2023, a small number of parties have expressed indicative, non binding interest in acquiring the Company at prices which the Board considers fundamentally undervalue the Company and its long-term prospects. Having considered each of these unsolicited expressions of interest, with its advisers, the Board does not believe that any of them are at a value which merits further engagement with any of those parties and has had no hesitation in unequivocally rejecting them."
40% fall in SP seems harsh despite the (temporary?) loss of a steady dividend and concerns over banking covenants. Management appear capable of weathering this storm.
Interesting to see that Canaccord has upped its stake in the company. Maybe better times are within sight!
RR, I echo your sentiments. The key for me is in the Business Development section that states positive EPS will be achieved when revenues rise to between
£7.5mln to £8.0mln. This looks achievable given the existing operational capacity to generate £10mln revenue being currently used at 60% and the areas identified to find a further £3mln in sales. My only concern is financing which would struggle to absorb any future unforeseen negative events. I welcome current efforts to strengthen this area and, like you, wish to avoid a dilutive equity raise but with present high interest rates and tightening liquidity standards it might be the best option. This I suspect is what is depressing the share price.
Mike 33, genuinely, I missed the meeting so would you tell me what was said about the Chinese stock?
This is moving in the right direction but we won't get jumps in the SP unless a RNS about additional volumes incluses some financial quantification. I hope that the forthcoming results live up to expectation.
Good to see the Directors buying at these levels with CEO the latest to top up. I've added to my existing holding too. Obviously I'm down on my initial investment but believe that RWS will come good over time.
petrencf, I agree short term movements can be ignored but we've dropped from a high of 1256p in April to 500p now which is disheartening and also puzzling in terms of its size. I fully agree with you that this a a good company and I bought in today. Hopefully a recovery will start early in 2023.
This share is getting hammered! I would have thought that a bottom must be close. Anyone else got similar thoughts?
Can anyone explain the negative reaction of the market to the results which, on the face of it, look quite positive?
Board should have considered a one off special dividend for us Shareholdrrs before they gave 8% bonus to staff who didn't create the high oil and gas prices that gave us this bonanza.
Quality company, deserves a better rating
talking of speculation....could our EV manufacturer be Ford?
They've just announced that their plant at Halewood will be in production by mid-2024...some time away but, if and when confirmed, a good customer to have in the bag .....
Hopefully the next good news is that the discussions with the EV manufacturer have borne fruit!
Jollyspeculator,
I'm certainly pleased with the uplift and expect the sp to hold at these levels
But why are you a seller and how do you get a tp of only 32p?
I guess that Directors buying must rule out any approach .... until next week, lol!
