Yes but Chris our investment is not regulated by HK stock exchange so I don't see how this is relevant to bou. In fact now we are no longer on aim are we technically not an Ltd? Not sure of the mechanics here. Are we regulated by aim any longer?

Thanks guys. I still don't understand how you have connected the dots here and also what's in it for val if some business were to acquire their best assets on the cheap only for them to be listed later under another name? Surely for their shareholders the best deal would be to develop them and reap rewards (I am not clued up on val). Also apple that article refers to rule changes on the HK stock exchange.

Ono, apple- what am I missing here? Val is a listed company. It can raise funds by issuing equity itself. Isn't that the point of a reverse takeover, a shortcut to the equity markets?
Does anyone know what value is recognised as base cost for your shares if they fall out of the isa? Just wondering whether the base cost is what you initially paid for the shares, or whether the fallout from isa is some sort of disposal event and your base cost is reset.
I stand by my comment Neil. If you've got some information that you can't share then best keep quiet. Schoolyard stuff. You've even called out your business partner by name.
Schoolyard stuff Neil, sometimes it's better not to tease. Can you answer this at least. Was your contact referring specifically to our investment or commenting on rtos in general?
Oh yes got my dates wrong. So if this is really to go to the wire we should expect an announcement of target by the end of Monday in a fortnight's time. That way we have the required 2 weeks to vote on the acquisition.
