Just about to post the same. Have seen this tired old joke about 20 times on advfn recently.
Indeed. Think I saw somewhere that the standard modus operanti for large scale Government announcements was a weekend leak via the Sunday Times / Telegraph then follow through that week.Haven't seen anything today so could be further drip feeds of info next week running up to potentially next weekend for the big reveal.Whether it's next week or the week after won't matter in the grand scheme. In any event sat here quite smugly enjoying the ride knowing that our patience is now finally starting to pay off.
Tell you something. I'm sick of Neil Diamond tonight??
Yup. I'm in also. Hopefully got the right bases covered for if/when a juicy announcement hits the wires

Below a reply to my email sent to Colin with reference FDA and i can post with His permission..
It would appear that this more of an administrative issue, Abingdon are in dialogue with the FDA and they are currently reviewing the information that has been submitted. During that review the FDA reviewer wanted some reports to be changed i.e. test to be compared with RT-PCR and not ELISA , that data has been updated and amended reports have been resubmitted to the FDA
In summary we still expect to receive FDA approval and what I find encouraging is that Abingdon are in active dialogue with them
Regards
Colin
The Telegraph understands mass testing could be used to swiftly move the worst-infected areas down the tiers. One idea under consideration is to send out home testing kits, known as lateral flow tests, to every household in an entire region so the population could be tested within a week.

Exclusive: Mass testing of entire regions considered as ministers signal return to tiers in March
FFB - re your earlier question re ABC boxes.
No further orders / run for over a month now (through my contact). That said, they were also sub contracting via another local supplier so could be being pushed through them.
Will be a hell of a lot of shredding/ recycling if nothing comes out of all this - lol.
FFB. Haven't heard anything for a while. I'll reach out this afternoon to check.
Agree Up.
Well worth having a peek at advfn. Very interesting indeed but not surprising if true.
Interesting comment on advfn by Krakenfeld relating to the NHS app:
For those not aware, this is from the nhsx github page. It’s essentially coding for future versions of the nhs app. Have a look through it and you will see sections on finger prick antibody testing. This is the latest update:

they’re a contact of someone who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19), they may have chosen to take a test every day for 7 days instead of self-isolating. If so, you can select ‘Yes’.
If their test result is negative, they can continue their normal activities without needing to self-isolate.

Thanks for the clarification Korda.
Just threw me with the quote saying GAD are manufacturing. Was expectimg it to say Omega?
Are we sure we're making this test? Seems to imply someone else - Global Access Diagnostics'?"To guarantee access to the rapid test in low- and middle-income countries, the COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test will be manufactured and made available by Global Access Diagnostics (GAD)"
AU. Yep must be.
Sample size of only 200 tests to date with CE to be obtained and then on to MHRA.
At the glacial speed of MHRA won't be expecting anything this side of 2023 - lol (tongue in cheek)
