Helium stocks are a mystery to me. These helium AIM stocks are like riding a roller-coaster in the dark. I've got holdings in HE1 and more recently QHE and HEX. Timing the market on these stocks to my mind is difficult, and something that I do not have much luck in. The news today is a bit "meh" neither good or bad. I don't want to play too much with these stocks, but to do well in them you need to actively trade them on medium term sentiment (and be skilled at that strategy). HEX has cost me a packet (30% down). I've considered cutting my losses, but I also think that they are reasonable value currently. Trying to ignore sunk cost in my decisions is the zen I'm aiming for.

Hoping for some recovery. Just added 46835727 shares @0.0022p. This dilutes my loss a little!

SpaceX. I had the same thought. All my helium related shares are down today and have been drifting down for a couple of weeks. 😢

Helix has just announced 3 months offtake agreement at spot price for 30-40mcf per day. When can we get similar news from Colorado!

I agree. Until recently I had cursed myself for not taking out some capital to invest elsewhere. More recently I have diversified my Helium exposure to HEX and QHE, additionally I have parked some capital in a world ETF. Everything is up except HE1 and QHE. Who knows where HE1 will end up, but I'll probably be completely out of this stock if it raises above 0.6 or falls below 0.45.

There must be an update on Colorado soon!

Institutional investor here! Not really but I've just sold a chunk of he1 and bought 45m of these (plus a chunk of hex). Sick of waiting for he1, and downside risk on he1 is higher imho. Still hold he1 but much less currently.

Yes the spread is more on bnl, but I think there is good value currently. He1 remains in my mind the bigger risk of proving that Tanzania is commercially viable. He1 has a bigger potential. To me it's about balancing my exposure between exploration and production.

Bnl is undervalued IMHO. I am considering pulling more stock from he1 in exchange for bnl. Ajbell will take phone orders for Australian stock, but not online.🤔

Just sold 10m in limit orders. 21m left. There is interest in the shares today. Luckily I did remove some limit orders last night. Let's see where these end up today. GLA

I sold 5m shares today. I got overexposed to this stock after the recent retail offer and I needed to trim my holding. I've currently got limit sells for 2m each at every 0.01p from 0.64p to 0.68p, even if they all go through I will still have more stock than before the last retail offer!

The esp test in Rukwa extracted 16400 barrels per day of water at 90 degrees centigrade. That is one Olympic swimming pool of very hot water every day from one well. Maybe HE1 could make a Tanzanian equivalent of the Blue Lagoon!

Probably less than one third of the share price can be attributed to the blue star joint venture where there will be an impact from the current spot prices, but in reality we don't know the achievable spot prices, or the production rate. The main focus is Tanzania where it will take a longer time to get to a production stage (if it does) and hence the current high helium price has limited influence. Dilution also a big factor obviously.

I also think that the price of co2 may be increasing due to the war. In the UK a major plant was shut due to reduced tariffs for the import of bioethanol. Recently the government has invested £100m to keep the plant open so that we still have a supply. The plant produces bioethanol and as a by product co2. My point is that we will have much higher fertilizer costs and this affects the cost of the raw product for the production of bioethanol. This will have an impact on the price of co2 that is produced with this process.

@Blubay I agree I just could not be bothered to calculate the capacity with the current wells that were tied in. If we have 50% of that then these are still good figures IMHO, $750k per month or $9m pa is still good

I am optimistic about the spot prices that could be achieved. We have low grade helium, but this can be converted to high purity liquid helium for about $200 MCF. Historical prices have reached $1000 per MCF and I think this is probably what the spot prices will be currently. In essence if we take that value and subtract the additional purification cost and add some delivery costs we should be achieving at least $700 per mcf. Or about $1.5m per month when the plant is at capacity.

It's in the range that should be expected. Diluted so old expectations of sp should be multiplied by .93. If you previously thought that the share price should be 0.7p then today you should expect 0.651p which is equivalent.
