So if that’s the case and HAV was up and running the AISC of Telfer would plummet making it more viable as shared costs of running the plant.
I just want to make sure I am in the right area, like if more mines in the area occur it will bring down all costs!
I know they said costs +10%, but if Telfer mine closed our costs will go up, as not so many feeding from the well as they say!
Just my thinking 🥰
MH01
Hi just for my clarification we are assuming Telfer mine and Telfer plant would be classed as separate entities!
So Telfer mine AISC is over $1600
So the plant would also have other overheads ie staff and running costs!
Telfer mine wouldn’t be covering all the costs of the plant!
Am I right in my thinking?
Thanks Dipp that’s the kind of AISC I want to see:))))
Hi Timber
I am sure I remember that didn’t Newcrest decide to increase the length of the Telfer mine, just to help with covering the costs of the Telfer plant until HAV was up and running!
I am sure that is what I remember!
Could be wrong, normally am ! Lol
Hopefully that’s correct because that will force their hand .
All the best Ben
Nice one spades 👍
Good morning All
Apologies don’t read anything into my previous post it was a joke for ace taking the mick out of sisu!
Anyway this is my take on HAV for what it is worth, while newmont have Telfer and the 1200 staff on the payroll they will have to look at HAV as a priority!
Why ?
It’s almost ready to go!
Telfer is losing money and so much has been invested in upgrading it!
If there was no Telfer then I could see Newmont putting HAV in the gold reserve pile, it’s not as though they don’t have any more mines to mine is it!
All in my opinion of course and we probably have about 5% of the full information!
All the best Ben
Hi Ace
Well sisu only found out about the leak yesterday and he said the others will start hearing about it in the next couple of weeks!
So give JP Morgan a chance 😂
They are not up to speed yet!
I hope he is right and there’s a eye watering figure coming our way, maybe mickeys £1.44🍾
Seems as though we got the leak before the rest of the big boys!
Best get in quick before the American market opens, because there’s going to be a rush soon!
Lol
Hi Red
For me I believe Shaun has been a good ceo ! Transparent, kept us up to date as much as humanly possible with drill results ( both good and bad).
He has had to deal with a takeover and dubious antics by Newcrest over the 5%, got us financing for mining with banks.
He probably had to go to bed with the devil ( wyloo for 8-10p a share) as a defensive move, maybe got the heads up that Newcrest were going to put a insulting buyout price probably 3-5p a share ( imagine how much the share price would of plummeted then, the shorts would of had a field day) he has now done to MRE’s as promised.
Until we start getting revenue we are not in control of our destiny, so sometimes you have to let things go and TAZ would of probably been shelved as he concentrates in the Paterson area , so getting something for it is better than getting nothing!
So until we start rolling out the gold we will have to be a bit patient with the other tenement’s !
All in my opinion of course and I wish you all the best
I have been with Barclays for several years now and have never had any problems buying and selling!
I am just surprised out of the blue they have done this, maybe they are starting a price war against the other brokers!
Just a thought 🤔
All the best Ben
Reading more it’s saying in your sipp or your share isa it will pay interest on the money not invested!
Sounds to good to be true, I must admit I have never had any problems with them and their tariffs at the time was pretty good!
But we will see if it comes good!
All the best Ben
Afternoon All I hope you are well!
Of subject
Just had a email saying Barclays are doing away with monthly fees and regular trading fees!
How does that compare with other brokers, all views welcome!
Just an annual fee!
All the best Ben
Afternoon All I hope you are well!
A big plus is there has been no redundancies or hint of redundancies and they have continuing as normal!
So that speaks volumes to what is happening behind the scenes!
All in my opinion of course and all that:)
I mean Charles Archer has repeated what we have been saying for the past couple of years!
Sorry came out wrong!
Evening All I hope you are all well!
I personally think Charles Archer has repeatedly said for the past couple of years ‘ we look like a buyout company and they are trying to get us on the cheap’
No substance to what he says!
No different to what we have been saying!
Let’s see if Shaun has covered all the bases and I still wonder how many offers he has rejected!
On or off the table.
All the best Ben
Sorry read it all wrong!
To early in the morning for this !
Oh well no harm done.
Good luck all
Interesting that a small miner/exploration company can attract someone like him!
Not sure what has been offered to tempt him here, but it seems as though Shaun believes whatever is down there is worth going all the way for :)
Just my view!
All the best Ben
Paulb
Shame on you for that!
Shaun has just carried on his PR for new investors, we have been told by Shaun since he took over!
This is a Tier1 mine , it’s huge, it’s humongous, it’s exceptionally, it’s world class, it’s 20+moz years ago and it’s looking more and more likely to be a 50moz mine!
He can carry on reiterating this until he can give or offer any more to us LTH’s which probably will be the DTM or another hit.
I am not sure what you expect him to say!
Hi Trippy
To think Shaun offered $80m for 5% when the Fmv was $60m and that was two years odd ago!
Makes you think 🤔
Hi Ace
Spades is a bit right, sometimes we do get clogged up with BS and this is a site for learning!
Doh ‘what are we on about again’😂
Anyway if it helps I have booked my flight to Australia for the end of March,so hopefully I will bump into Shaun ( there’s not too many people in Oz:))
