Just had a call from Simply Supplements saying that the blood pressure formula was in stock again and asking if I would like to resume my previous repeat order. I asked about the ingredients and the caller explained that the "expensive" Fruitflow has indeed been removed. I declined to renew as I now have a repeat order elsewhere.
p.s. I never actually cancelled the previous order with them, but assumed they had cancelled it when they ran out, as I could no longer see details of it online. I think I only received a call just now because my old credit card had expired and he wanted me to update the payment method, otherwise they might just have dispatched some of the new formula and I would not have been pleased.
I first bought in years ago too, although not as long ago as some people here. My first buy was at 5p, and I watched as the sp then went lower and lower. I bought again on a number of occasions over the years and I'm presently holding with an average of 0.6p, showing a nice profit, and optimistic for the future.
I am with I.I. so you'll find the arrangements are as I described. Once set up, you'll find Bed and ISA in the Cash and transfer menu. The original sp when you bought the shares is only relevant for tax purposes, if you need to declare a profit or loss, just as if you had sold the shares and kept the cash. Henceforth, one of the benefits of the ISA, of course, is that you don't have to account to the taxman for the dealings inside it. The sp you get for the Bed and ISA shares will be determined on the day the deal is done, which might not be the same day you place the order, and the sp you get them back for will be slightly higher, meaning you'll have to pay a little more to get the same number of shares back, plus dealing charge. The spread will be much less than you would otherwise expect though. (See PXS trades at 1158 21st June - Shares were sold at 0.800p and bought in ISA at 0.801p even though they both show as sells here. In this case the number of shares differs in order to put the maximum value into the ISA, but in your case the number of shares will be the same and the values will differ slightly. I hope that makes sense. Btw, when your account is changed to I.I. your records should be transferred as well, but don't rely on it. Download any contract notes and statements needed for tax purposes before the switch, just in case.
Just to be clear, you need to have linked ISA and trading accounts and you use the Bed and ISA page in your trading account. Then it's just a matter of a couple of mouse clicks and typing in the number of shares. You don't actually have to explain anything to anyone.
You can specify; A) the share value to generate for your ISA, if you are not transferring your total number of shares [which is useful to fill up to an ISA allowance] or, B) the number of shares to transfer [which is the one you want] Your broker will do the selling and re-buying on your behalf and get a better deal on the spread than you could get yourself. You will need a little cash in your account to cover the bid/offer spread achieved, and dealing charges.
I don't know what your situation is, but Interactive Investor state the following about Bed and ISA. "Please note, if your holding is in a small-cap or AIM share, we may be able to secure a lower bid-offer spread by dealing it directly than by making an online trade. Please call us to discuss." Why not give your broker a call.
.. But the next few days might have very low figures. I guess it just depends on which day of the month the initial order was placed. I don't know if it's relevant at all but mine came by DPD this time, whereas all previous ones were delivered by Royal Mail.
... as opposed to stock availability. I have just received my first repeat order in the new pack (145066) and I'm not sure if I prefer the new style or not. Retrieving the padded envelope from the letterbox caused the capsules inside to rattle about loudly, and when I opened the container I saw straight away that it was less than half full . Why would they design a container two and a half times bigger than necessary to hold thirty capsules? Or is it just about having sufficient surface area to display the info on the rear label?
My latest order number was 137303. The numbers I gave previously are the monthly differences between consecutive order numbers. The figures were increasing until February, then reducing slowly before plummeting this month.
