No upturn in Caspian fortunes before August, if then, be prepared for a very uneventful 2019 with Caspian.....a bit like the previous 5 years. There’s an agenda behind Caspian which us pi’s are not privy to.

Subject to not going private, Caspian will be a huge success for us pi’s. A8 is the biggy, they must be pretty sure about what they have, for the drill to be 250 days to completion.....so 20p would be way off the mark. Can see Sinopec being a big player in Caspian future, jv or buyer. With a major resource reassessment, I think a £1 in front of that 20p is more than possible

Can you say why it won’t be taken private richyp? If you were a hard nosed businessman, and could see an easy way to make millions for little outlay you wouldn’t do it? I’m not saying it going to happen but the opportunity is there for our major shareholder, all thats needed is, a controlling amount of stock! Plus the finance to buy up all the shares if and when the offer is excepted. It happened to me with a company years ago, who were in the oil trading and storage business.

Jester yes I agree with what you say, but friends look after friends (most of the time) so compensating those bod can easily be arranged. The license being granted would certainly be a step in the right direction, and it’ll boost company earnings. But Caspian hasn’t busted a gut going after the license, or have I missed something?

Big call richyp to say this is the bottom for Caspian sp. I remember some enlightened investors in Casp saying “this will never see single digits again” a year or more ago, oh how they got it wrong. The lower the sp goes, the more vulnerable to being taken private Casp becomes. There’s an agenda behind the scenes with Casp, no international licence, yet that would double income, why wouldn’t a company want to be more profitable? Clive’s rns waffle on about nothing, he’s a mouth piece for the big shareholders, his updates to the market are always more of the same, and little or no content. 5 years nearly after first deep success and the sp is where it’s at....Caspian doesn’t add up, it’s one massive gamble for pi’s that’s for sure, and anyone who thinks their money is safe is deluding themselves. A8 is the next milestone on the roxi road of Casp, and we won’t know until August about that, potential screw up. Caspian will be a success, will pi’s be apart of that success, I’m not so sure.

Yeah, kefi seems to have stalled, and some investors have had enough and moving on. I must say I thought progress would have been better than what it is, oh well here’s to 2020

Jester... yeah you could be right with Sinopec. It appears to me that Caspian doesn’t want to produce anymore oil than it takes to cover running costs, that makes me think more likely a buyout.

richyp....your predictions have been to say the least “off the mark” what makes you so sure now? Last week it was going to be rns time on license, so now it’s this week 1 day down n 4 to go, plus you were a deep on test by the end of March!!! Do you still think everything going to happen in the next 4days? I hope you’re right, I’ll stick with no deep on test before May, the damaged 147metre of A5 is more than just convenient. The the big one being A8 in August. License could drop at anytime I agree, but Caspian is not the usual oil gas company....it’s an enigma.
