Finally time to filter the usual suspects
Or in my opinion possibly the saddest people I’ve ever come across!
what the film studios plan on doing after they have killed off the companies that sell their product?
To me it’s simple, take a small hit now and guarantee your business in the future. Or don’t have any future at all. Oh, maybe you can go on PVOD. Lol
I’ve thought this many times but have held and will continue to just hold.
All depends if it’s a bad as we think AND if it is bad you need to get your sell order in quick and hope it’s not to volatile it actually goes through
Bond being delayed is very bad news indeed. But all cinemas chains are going to feel this. I was wondering who has the best financials to survive over winter?
Cineworld competes with Vue and Odeon in the U.K. - surely if these smaller chains go bang first, Cineworld can pick up on the footfall that would otherwise have been going to those chains? May be just enough to see them through.
Just a thought anyway. I haven’t looked into Vue & Odeon
Cineworld is my first (financially big) investment. Hopefully this can swing back around and put me back into profit where I’m able to sell.
To me this is just a nice beginner lesson. Ignore derampers AND ignore the painfully repetitive rampers too. Both of these sides have nothing better to do than sit on forums inflating the possibility of either outcome when reality is nobody knows what’s going to happen - especially in uncertain times like these
Thanks all. Hopefully positive SP tomorrow but I’m in this for the long run no matter which way this goes! GLA
:)
Is anybody else concerned that when earnings are released this is going to go back down to 30p? I love cineworld, I have an unlimited card and I also have 5000 shares in the company (before anyone accuses me of ‘deramping’ for simply putting my opinion out there) but there is only 1 good film in the cinema right now which is Tenet, new mutants is a ay dreadful. And the line up for the rest of 2020 isn’t great with the except of Black Widow (potentially being delayed) and No Time To Die
We had a couple of green days in a row about 2 weeks ago and around the time Mooky was hinting at some very good news which we have still yet to hear?
@MassiveRay cheers mate
Can anyone advise was the abbreviation ‘mm’ is referring too?
Thanks - just living up to my username ??
Only up from here
Hi all, I’ve seen we are expecting good news next week - I can’t myself find this information online, I’m probably looking in the wrong places. Would anyone be able to share a link to Mookys statement
Cheers
This is my first big investment (for me financially this is big) I’m holding 5198 shares @ 56.62p so finally starting to see green which I’m happy about. Looking forward to some nice profits hopefully!
I did have some shares in Dart Group and HSBC but sold to put into CINE.
Anyone else spotted any other good post COVID recovery stocks?

Cheers for the responses on this! Hopefully the US opening & and increased revenue will reflect on the SP next week and the coming weeks after. This is a punt for me and hopefully pays off. Good luck all
I’m assuming you guys just don’t want to hear anything that goes against this doing well? Even tho I’m myself very optimistic, doesn’t hurt to ask questions
I am a genuine 1st time poster
I was wondering why on 2 occasions this spiked to £1 when good news come but now it’s seems we’ve had all the good news with regards to opening and it’s still 50p
I am very optimistic about this share and I’m hoping to at least double my investment over the next few weeks
I appreciate the posts all you guys have been putting up wasn’t expecting the only decent reply to be from the person that isn’t very optimistic lol
Hi all, I’m new to trading and have around 5k Cineworld shares at 56p. Thanks for the all the advice posted on this board over the last few weeks and months.
My question is why is the US opening (Friday 21st) not already priced in? I thought this was the case when the share had hit £1 twice already in the run up to openings - wondering why it’s different this time
Based on what?
