Jelly, an interesting dilemma you have, perhaps, inadvertently raised for potential new investors; that being with so many long term holders such as yourselves being so under water with the long term drop in the sp who are looking to sell on a rise to recoup losses, this could well stifle the share price for a considerable time despite increases in V price and the closer they get to vertical integration

Pdub, an opinion which in no way related to the future direction of a share price. Respected posters, and you obviously being one of them based upon your posts and following, can influence others with their opinion

Pdub, it is good that we have both said the same on AIM risks, greed, and people taking responsibility for their own actions. But perhaps it would be more considerate to others if people’s posts were limited to facts rather than ramping / de ramping comments followed by “in my opinion” as these can just fuel people’s greed and lead to potential unexpected and unwanted outcomes.

Pdub, I agree with you that it is the investors own attitude to risk that is a large part of why an investment is made, however their attitude to risk can be highly influenced by views published on bulletin boards such as this. I know investors should do their own research but greed is a great influencer, and posts stating double bagging etc etc can be the catalyst of that greed.

At long last a BMN investor has finally admitted that investing in the likes of BMN - an AIM mining stock, can be considered as not being a particular safe place to invest, particularly being based in Africa. Yes I agree there can be big gains for those prepared to take risks - but conversely there can be big losses from taking those risks. Hopefully Bmn will be a risk worth taking.

Loadspeaker / Faramog. The words have never been actually said by LTHs but certainly the implication is always there. How important now is BMN to the VRFB industry compared with others? Where is the electrolyte currently coming from.? The best thing that could happen for the battery industry and Bmn shareholders would be if they were taken over by a cash rich buyer who could inject cash, management and experience to rapidly drive the company forward and successfully exploit the resources to the benefit of all. In my opinion.

So if I am understanding what is being said here by the LTHs is that the whole VRFB industry can breath a sigh of relief for the existence of BMN. It makes one wonder how it is surviving without the electrolyte from BE.

Faramog, I know not where others will source their vanadium. However vanadium, either mined or produced from steel production waste , is a common product. But hopefully BMNs vertical integration will prove favourable to them

Coffee cups, Certainly some electrolyte producers have stolen the March off BMN and due to their economies of scale built up may not find it hard to retain their clients. However as Halespure says, let us hope that BMN are not too late for the party and that they can make inroads into the manufacturer’s who already have offtake agreements

I believe that us vanadium produces their vanadium products from waste produced in steel production - hence not from mining.

A search on the internet reveals some very large quantities of electrolyte being manufactured by various companies, along with some large investments being made in constructing both extensions to these facilities and also new plants. There are also a number of vanadium producers who appear to have large off take agreements with some electrolyte producers. Are BMN leaving it a little late to join the party, or is / will there be room for many others?

Uncle, some recent wobbles caused by global issues but the need for logistic hubs is growing rapidly and I think the segro sp will continue on its upward trajectory. In my opinion.

Pdub, a great list of positive achievements put forward, but unfortunately the market and sp finds it of little interest, why is that do you think? Heaven forbid there is some future bad news.

Diamondlover, indeed that could well be a problem as there could likely be a stampede to sell - the lack of liquidity in many aim stocks could prove to be a problem for Bmn holders; hopefully not though.

Jhill84, perhaps if more disgruntled shareholders vented their frustration it may give the BMN Directors a kickstart into some kind of action to reverse the spectacular sp demise witnessed over the recent few years.
