this thread just shows how little proper research most people on here actually do. Take one look at the make-up of the Synairgen BoD and you will see years and years of corporate management experience across a number of industries but mainly Pharma.
Honestly, as Denny said, it is not a talent contest and I doubt that one of you calling for RMs p.45 would be able to run a punch & judy show, let alone a multi-million £ drug development company.
If you don't like it. leave. it really is that simple
The annual cost of being and AIM listed company is around £200k
Ghia, are you on twitter? if so can you message me there. Same username
Cheers
The stuff that gets posted on this board just gets more crazy everyday!
I have never heard such a load of absolute drivel in all my life.
If any of you posting this cr4p knew anything about the complexities of drug development and clinical trials you would know that RM & the team have effectively moved mountains to get to this stage, with a tiny crew and limited resources.
I hope you scare yourselves into selling up and take your idiotic and ill-informed posts and opinions somewhere else!
when the Market realises that the news was actual good we will see a recovery (horrible pun) from Friday's car crash. Note these facts:
1. An assessment of placebo patients only indicated that those with marked or severe breathlessness at time of treatment initiation had slower recovery to no limitation of activities than those patients who were not as breathless.
2. In the Hospital Cohort (reported in July 2020) patients were 2.19 times more likely to recover to level 1 on the Ordinal Scale compared to placebo, HR 2.19, p=0.043. The addition of the 12 markedly and severely breathless Home Cohort patients changes the Hazard Ratio to 2.49, p=0.009.
3. Interestingly, not all hospitalised patients were markedly or severely breathless at time of treatment initiation. An analysis including only patients who were markedly or severely breathless at the time of treatment initiation, irrespective of whether they were in hospital or at home, showed that those treated with SNG001 (n=33) were 3.41 times more likely to recover than those on placebo (n=36) (HR 3.41 [95% confidence interval 1.47- 7.94], p=0.004).
All good,even great, results ??
@poor, still think Syme doesn't know where it is going. so will stay well clear.
This share is frustrating. Not 100% convinced that BoD have a true strategy, but I do think it has massive potential. Something north of 5p should be easily achievable if they get some sort of act together!!
Hi @poor. Nope I got out (again!) are you?
After the hiatus of the warrants and shareholder revolt, which cost the company £8m in cash btw, the BB settled down to some level of 'normality', with not much in the way of argument or fanciful, exaggerated discussion. Ill seems to have gone bat**** again now! Glad I don't watch very often. You are all very good at depressing each other. Makes one wonder why the majority of you are invested in anything.
Have fun
IG are doing bed and ISA. Transfer to them. Better than HL imo anyway

Seems to be a lot of angst about the Argentinian INF trial (& Dr Mary in France). IMO, the issue is not one of who is developing treatments, any science that backs up the Interferon case is only good. The issue is their ability to get a scaled up drug to market. Dr. Mary & his crew are a tiny 'shoestring' operation and would need a big Pharma to get on board. The Argentinians efforts looks to be the same (although difficult to tell really) as their trial is only 20 people!. Once a big Pharma is involved they will, through due diligence, check for any patent infringements and run a mile if they find one that is watertight (as we think ours are). It is simply not worth the risk to them of breaking any patent laws. It could cost them many times more than they would ever make. Pretty chilled about it really
@Mrcosts. Sorry, ridiculous idea tbh. RM does not 'owe' us anything, apart from to do his job to the best of his ability. He cannot be distracted by 'weak & woolly' shareholders that do not have patience to let him get on with it!
for most, if not all, paywalled articles use this site. cut & paste the article url and the site will access the archive copy, not paywalled.

that would be a suitable outcome for some on here!!!
Some interesting stuff in here about cutting edge covid treatments, small molecules, ACE inhibitors etc included
SAR should have been on the panel, or at least a contributor

@mr big! I shall take that as very 'tongue in cheek' :-)
That is pointing at exactly what I mean! :-)
I hear from our french friends that a good broth can be made from one of them!!

Anyone that really believes that comments posted on this chat board (of all the chat boards available) would have one iota of influence of the sp really should examine why they are investing at all!
Nothing sid on here would make any difference imo.
@matterhorn I sent my bed&isa request to them via email on friday morning (2nd April) requesting a full isa allowance transfer to be executed as close to the opening as possible on Tuesday 6th. They actually excuted the transaction at 16:00 on Tuesday, so closer to closing than opening! But overall, the srvice was good! Especially compred to some brokers that have stopped providing B&I service altogether.
Although there helpdesk can be slow, they generally do the job if you contact then via email.
Good luck
Hey Oakleaf, long time no chat. are you on twitter? if so come find me on there, same username ;-)
