Topprize. I see you say peer review is done. If so, can you share a link as to where it is published (should be BMJ or similar esteemed medical journal) as I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Appreciated if you can :-)
also here. not bitter at all
but folks really should research how drug trials are run and the complexity.
This stuff takes time and large investment.
But you are welcome to believe whatever floats your boat
because....
1. Very small trial
2. Trial results published without data are never well received by the scientific community (and serious investors)
3. Not peer reviewed yet. Results are not 'real' until peer review confirms them
4. Still a very long way from commercialisation. A much, much bigger Phase 3 trial will be required. Probably 1000 patients across multiple countries. That will take anything up to 1 year to complete.
5. RNS says 'trend towards efficacy' That is a very ambiguous phrase and could easily mean that the results (which are known but not published) are not statistically significant
It IS good news, but not stellar imo. Drug development is a difficult and very complex area that people should research in depth before putting hard earned pennies in.
Just my opinion.
Bournemouth is running our Sprinter trial. Not sure about Poole, but they are part of the same Trust.
Unless selected for the trial, her only route is compassionate use (MAPS?)
Good luck!!
does anyone in the #SAR lth group actually care?
Good to see you Ghia.
the question you pose about Activ is actually unanswerable imo. There should be news from everything we know and have heard, but there is not. a fact.
Why? We will only know when the news actually lands. So much expectation around all investor groups.
The only thing on that I will say here is that news will land soon. We all know it. Have fun
I really do wish this board supported emojis, It would be a series of laughing heads, crying with tears to Barry's post.
Delude yourselves as much as you want. I really don't mind at all!!
Go for it Barry, cover yourself in glory with your inciteful analysis and informed knowledge!!
;-)
Barry, do your research then. I have over a long period. i know who they are, what they do, and why they do it. I am very happy with their investment.
Work it out for yourself.
Best of luck
not that I can share details, but I have seen very credible evidence of the 'due diligence' activities that Polygon have undertaken. It was not just "look this company up on google!'
To say they have done a very 'deep dive' into our current activities would be a huge understatement.
Enjoy the ride folks
This can only ever be seen as a good thing. These folks are specialists in 'event driven' investments (that means looking for ground breaking companies and ground breaking 'events') and M&A. Acquisition of Synairgen is not beyond them (they do have a lot of £££s) but we are not their typical company as the pi level of holdings are very high and we have no shortage of cash Getting to 30% would be very difficult for them (and very expensive), with no guarantee that any 'lowball' bid would have much chance of success. Very high risk for them. The only possible acquisition strategy for them is if they are accumulating on behalf a 'big pharma' client. So I reckon we fall into their 'event Driven' strategy. We know our news will break soon. They have definitely done their 'due diligence' and are very happy to buy at these levels (circa 150-160).I cannot understand the negative 'polygon' posts here. You really do need to do more research and understand the market place better. Just my opinion, obviously!!
A good day, in the end
idiot
Hi Toth, I follow your posts with a great deal of interest, as does everyone it seems.
I do not post here often, but am a big fan of the the company. Been invested for about a year now, so not like yourself and other very LTH.
I have a reasonable amount of shares (not massive) with an ave of 1.5p, so, showing a fairly healthy profit, and I do have to admit to top slicing some recently, so now on a 'free ride'
The question is.... What is your best guess at a TO valuation offer. I have seen figures kicked around from £1 to £10 (highly unbelievable imo)
What is your best guess?
Currently 13% up today
@stoney. Thanks for that update.
can someone that knows a bit more than me (not difficult) summaries the current thinking on the 'secret' patent?
Direct contact with the company has confirmed that they will update the market with ACTIV news (move from p2 to p3) via an RNS. Remember that a move to p3 will also almost certainly include an EMA to FDA.
very true! But normally with 2-3 weeks notice, not 2 hours!!
It's not a theory, it is a fantasy. If MMs wanted to communicate stuff they would use the phone! A burner of course :-)

Not sure if this is new news or old news
