Seamus as always it depends on the claims, how accurate is that provision, can they restart lending both responsibly and with sufficient profit to cover potential future payouts?
Subject to the above it's 0p or £1-3 per share in a few years time for me...
Hi Yuri, good to see you're still around.
After the last results call I was feeling much more optimistic that the provision for claims is a large chunk of what will be finally required + the plan for "Amigo 2.0" with a diversified product offering and variable interest rates to widen margins to cover the increased cost of lending to some customers.
HH only joking mate. But you're right you can kinda tell when people have dumped or not, most only stick around for a few days after though unless they're looking to buy back in cheaper.
Is Yuri still around?
agree I'm much more positive following the investor call than I have been on the 2 before.
I haven't traded this nearly as much as i should have because I was always so far down, otherwise I'd probably be in profit here too.
mind you HH you did accuse me of changing tone and trading when I hadn't so not always right :-)
dilution is a bit unforseen at the moment, it depends on the run rate of the claims i guess.
on the investor results call they seemed pretty sure the provision is going to cover most of the claims now, but if it doesn't then maybe in 12m time when they cash is gone and debts are due this could be an option.
be pretty devastating though...
Got to say I feel much better and more confident about the long term after having watched that, the info shared by Gary and the team was much more detailed/useful than anything we had before and the point around them targeting all parts of the sub-prime market is huge IMO.
