If you have withdrawn more than invested from whatever platform you put the money in then yes taxed is applicable.

I would of thought they would legally have to name the investors as otherwise we would be voting blind!!!

A no brainer from me to vote NO if they don't disclose who they are and more details up front before the meeting to shareholders ONLY via whichever trading platform you use.
