Been Egypt myself in 50 degree heat but it wasn't humid so not too bad.
The worst for me was in Zante in the mid 2000's on holiday for 2 weeks and the first week was 50+ daytime and low 40's at night but the humidity was ridiculous!!!!
Especially at night when I walked out at night from my air conditioned room and was dripping wet through within 5 minutes.

The funny part of my story is the temp dropped 2nd week to 40 in the day and low 30's at night but the humidity had gone and I was freezing cold first couple of nights out so wore a cardigan to keep me warm much to the amazed looks from newly arrived holiday makers lol

I did something similar years ago in Lindos Rhodes when walking up to see the acropolis.
Needless to say drank all my water before I even payed to get in.
That was one very hot day!!!!
