Fair point, I can see categorically NO point in āa few single order unitsā being a full contract. Definitely the right strategy to target industry markets. The single units of ExE, Acc and Julich will be costed/priced based on multiples of units and maintenance.
I would be VERY DISAPPOINTED should AFC announce an order to supply a few units as a complete contract, itās just NOT what the objective is.
Very significant report. The combination of increasing demand for electricity, and the necessity to supply clean, renewable energy, puts AFC in prime position. An up-grade to the national grid infrastructure would be budgeted in the 10s of billions, ā¦and AFC might well be part of the planning to both meet the demand, and come-in on budget. The proof of concept has virtually only just been realised, although we know that the govāt has been communicating with AFC for some time. Such major investment in new tech is unlikely to be rushed and takes alot of planning, alot needs validating like the manufacturing supply chain and on-going maintenance, and with all the info we have it looks feasible that supply to meet demand is achievable.
Interesting gvs, canāt see that much of negotiations takes place via the website. Agree the type is too stylish and too subtle. Hardly call the CME being part of a silent period, when plans were illustrated, and work to do.
Agree Dave and ogs, ā¦a specialist event energy provider, hiring out by the week, with stock/supply capacity 60 units, same offer as Altaaqua, different end user.
Sold in May, gone away.
Nice one Sea.
Vol:0.75,B>S, +/-0@62=450Mc. Within 60-65 range. When Buys are 5x sells maybe seller gone.?
Since the 2nd ExE race, confirmation that the first commercially operated AFC FuelCell has successfully been run, turned off, transported, and run again.
Boxes getting ticked and those that want to know are there involved aswell.
Likely to get announced imho. Although no need as it must be assumed HH is part of schedule to reach conveyor-belt assembly-line. So āHH readyā only relevant for s.holders.
Such low volumes lately, only very significant news worth anything, although all updates welcome. Not so long ago the CME gave Q&A info, busy refurbishing and negotiating at AFC, so no news is fine for me.
Vol:1.4,B0.6.v.0.8S, CLOSE 62=450Mc. S>B all week, low volume, within 60-65p all week. FTSE 7069, very steady week from 7050 start.
Could be the good old bad old days, ā¦big news, ā¦big rise.
Interesting, the solar panels charge the batteries, when the batteries are full the energy is used to create H2. That H2 is stored as back up. The H2 stored is described as having equivalent energy to 14 tonnes of battery power, ā¦pure H2, ā¦so just how efficient would similar storage capacity be for ammonia.?, equivalent to 50 tonnes of battery power.?
Thanks guys, so do we know whether the FuelCell capacity was utilised further than just charging the race cars, to power the pits and/or media centre.?
It is this kind of ādevelopmentā that needs to get publicity to illustrate the efficiency and versatility.
Did anyone follow the coverage, and was there anything stood out AFC wise.?
Donāt know chip. Just feels that this has found a steady level after the sector rerate over the last few weeks. FTSE aswell seems steady @7050+/-0.75%. As Britain heads out of business restrictions and gets on with sorting brexit problems, a bit of calm on the market might lead to confidence, and, maybe stretching a point, a willingness to embrace new tech as and when the risk factor reaches an acceptable level compared to the growth potential. This general stability bodes well for AFCās position and expectations this year.
1pm, under 1m traded today, B>S, just staying in 60-65p range, ā¦until further notice.!
Might be a variant on that this year.?, although the FTSE has reached a target equilibrium at 7050+/-0.75%, might be that AFC has now a range of 60-65 until significant developments. Any deviation should be indicated by volume over 6-7m/day.
Nice one Moji, you are literatureās version of Banksy.!
Seg, it was stated during the CME that the HH facility would be completed and staffed by late May, early June.
Interesting that Mr I.Thompson describes the Acciona āfield-trialā as happening in the Summer, so during the next 3 months, meaning delivery in 4-6 weeks.?
All quite unpredictable atm. The FTSE wants to settle @7050 approaching all lockdown easing, the H2 sector appears to have settled from the downward rerate, inflation now priced in, ā¦could represent some return of confidence, ā¦with above average volumes, 7-8m+, this could rise steadily on no news holding 75 by week end. As possible is a steady decline on 3-4m volume back into recent range 54-57. And then not ruling out appreciation of the full AFC position coming up to manufacturing capability, with order rumours, ā¦sail past 100p.
