Apology if seen already
I concur that with all these Buys and HEMO continues to have huge daily volumes, it should have moved up by now. Whats going in the background is anyone's guess. Be nice to see Blue for the long weekend and return Tuesday with a RNS showing positive news.
The live sunday announcement specifically called out we may never get a vaccine (phase 1 currently for all those participating) and phase 3 later this year.
Then referenced 6 treatments (no names), therapeutics working with promising candidates (initial live clinical trials) if positive, larger scale trials.
Southampton is a key part of the trial, which is where Synairgen is located. Just said by summer on the press release live from downing

I have seen another report that said SNG is injecting, again think its incorrect as its inhaled. But good to see a lot press for SNG over the last 24hrs and Project Dragon sounds promising.
Shame the SP doesn't feel the same
Anyone seen this?

The CEO on Youtube discusses the placement and how it is being used on a number of fronts and a significant step forward in enabling the mighty mice to be used on the different programs they are working on.
watch the Vacancy board increase shortly for my staff to expedite the programs - maybe a good thing.

Great news
This just shows how home trials are needed and that SNG could be a huge lifesaver in care homes.

One for the more seasoned traders, but if they place £2.5m at 7p a share, will that not increase market cap significantly in the event of a buy out (future) and provide a higher buyout price.
Not a seasoned trader so just speculating
Nice to see some movement upwards for a change and does that mean we are due some news or that Landsdown have stopped selling. Time and Patience will tell no doubt.
In for the long haul, oh wouldn't that be nice right now, a long haul flight or just any flight!!!
Appreciate this was 2018 but trials back then reflected positive outputs. Bodes well for current trials.

We met our target for recruitment at the beginning of May.
SARS Cov-2 infection study
In this clinical trial, patients who have confirmed COVID-19 and pneumonia were given either a nebulised version of interferon beta (a naturally-occurring protein that supports anti-viral responses in the body) called SNG001, or a placebo (‘dummy’ medicine). We met our target for recruitment at the beginning of May.

On the other hand, regarding the 187 treatments to combat Covid-19, the publication indicated that 71 are in the pre-clinical phase, 110 in the clinical phase, and six are not classified to determine what phase they are in. In this regard, the Instituto Belisario Domínguez presented the six most advanced investigations until April 30 in the treatment against this disease:
The first refers to the subset of antivirals that the drug Redemsivir tests. Treatment trials are in the clinical phase and their latest results will be this May. This research is conducted by the American biopharmaceutical company Gilead Sciences, the Solidarity Trial of the World Health Organization (WHO), the Adaptive Covid-19 Treatment Trial of the National Institute of Allergic and Infectious Infections (NAID) and the Institutes Feinstein.
The second investigation is carried out by the American biopharmaceutical company Oncolmmune based on a biological immunomodulator called CD24Fc. Treatment trials are in the clinical phase and their third trial phase began in April, according to the latest monitoring data from the Milken Institute.
The third treatment is to test methylprednisolone, ciclesonide, hydrocortisone, and corticosteroids. The trials are in the clinical phase and are being tested worldwide, the results of the recovery phase of which are expected next June. The sponsors of this research are diverse, among which the IBD highlighted the University of Oxford with its Recovery Trial, and the REMAP-CAP Global Trial.
The fourth investigation talks about the treatment with the antiviral Kaletra / Aluvia (lopinavir / ritonavir) and the protease inhibitor HIV-1. This trial is carried out by AbbVie, the WHO Solidarity Trial and the University of Oxford Recovery Test. Its results are expected in June of this year.
The fifth treatment is one of the best known, as it has been disseminated through the media, the IBD noted, and refers to the use of chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine as potential treatments for Covid-19. This investigation is in the clinical phase and results of the recovery phase are also expected in June. Its developers are the University of Minnesota, the University of Washington, the University of New York, the University of Oxford, the WHO Solidarity Trial, the New York State Department of Health, the REMAP-CAP Global Trial, Novartis , among others.
Finally, the publication of the Belisario Domínguez Institute of the Senate of the Republic pointed out that the sixth investigation speaks of tests with variants of interferon. He explained that this is an inhaled formulation of interferon beta 1a. It has been tested by Synairgen and the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom, whose treatment is in the clinical phase and started in March.
