Given the ‘recommended’ status of the SML and the discussions that have already taken place prior to the ML applications one might reasonably assume it is now a rubber stamping exercise requiring days rather than weeks or months. Let’s see.

And for that matter all Tanzanian MLs and SMLs are cancelable. Not legally but the GoT probably wouldn’t worry about that. You pay your money and take your chance in Africa. Why would a govt benefitting from a steady reliable supply of power deny a mining licence and kill it off. That’s right they wouldn’t.

With a following wind we might be granted the MLs by Christmas. (Not sure which Xmas though)

I think that has been suggested on many occasions. I think LC is a genuine guy who is struggling to get anything over the line. However I believe he wants to prove that he is capable and, marginally but on balance, I reckon he will get there on one or more of the African projects. Any stringing along would have to come to an end in the very short term based on cash and our partners’ expectations.

I think I will be in a shoe-in for a medal of some sort.

Surely our market cap of £6.5million will become a thing of the past if just one of the African projects happens???

Serious question JD - so we somehow manage to struggle to Christmas, the SP is 0.5p and LC is saying exactly the same things about ‘good progress’ - will you still be happy? Same thing in a year’s time ? 18 months time?

We all know placings in themselves are good things, they allow the company to achieve its goals over a reasonable period of time. The problem is that placings here appear to be an end in themselves and just allow for the passage of more time for nothing to happen.

What’s current best short term scenario - whacking out another 100m shares (in some convoluted way or another) to get us to Christmas?? There is currently no light at be end of the tunnel.
