Metro Baltic Horizons ("MBH") was notified on 9 October 2013 that Tim Crowley, a non-executive Director of MBH, disposed of 430,587 ordinary shares in the issued share capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), on 27 September 2013 at 11 pence per Ordinary Share. The shares were acquired by a family trust of which Mr. Crowley is a beneficiary. he Liberia Secretariat of the Movement against Violence and Impunity in Africa (MAVIA) has welcomed the intervention by government in resolving the land dispute between citizens of Grand Bassa County and the Equatorial Palm Oil Company. Although MAVIA sees the intervention and subsequent resolution as timely, it also warns against political interferences by some political leaders of the county which the group observes has the tendency to undermine development and the rule of law. In a statement Thursday, the group said it would not condone individuals bent on using the EPO saga to score political grades as it was in the case of Buchanan Renewable which left hundreds of citizens jobless. MAVIA believes that resurvey by EPO is legal and should proceed immediately with the participation of all parties. The group is of the opinion that when the resurvey is conducted, it would provide more job opportunities for Bassa citizens. However, MAVIA also states that as part of process leading to the conduct of said resurvey, it would shortly launch a county wide educational campaign under the code name "Operation Restore Calm." The one-day campaign, according to the group Country Representative Joseph Bush Trinity, would educate citizens and residents in the county on the importance of development. MAVIA calls on citizens and residents to support said campaign and resist violence
