I generally don’t trade or buy shares for the divi but I chased the divis with this. I would rather have sold at the £15.40 area 3 or 4 days before it went ex. Just as you have stated. Hopefully there is a rise to similar areas before it goes ex div in Feb. This time I’ll be more prepared. Lesson learnt I hope

I have moaned often enough about the sp and the slow progress but there was never a hidden agenda. Pure frustration and annoyance that I wasn’t clever enough to sell when it was 10p plus. I have never tried to persuade others to sell as I’m not in it to try and scare people like smokey joe. To be honest I find some of hagd’s postings quite amusing. Just now there ain’t much happening. I’m in tourism which isn’t going to recover any time soon especially up here with queen nicola keeping the land of braveheart in a perpetual state of fear. The many English people I’ve come across seem much more willing to try and get things moving. It’s very depressing up here living almost in a tartan clad dictatorship

When things are going wrong and the frustration boils over. My work has been destroyed since covid started and isn’t likely to improve any time soon so the days are spent walking mile after mile and trying to forget the world exists. There is nothing I can do to change it so moaning about that or anything is pointless. I only wish I’d been brave enough to buy a squad load at sub 2 but it looked dark then. If the researchers are that convinced I will accept that they could just be right.

On Bats yesterday has there been something out on imperial today? Bought my first tranche of these last month at 13.95 thinking I was getting a bargain to watch it fall steadily to 12.20 the other day. Bought another 1000 at 12.40 basically for income. I appreciate tobacco stocks are unloved but surely this ( or about this area) of yield has to be considered in this environment? I’m right in saying the divi is fairly well covered and surely a return to £16 or so over medium term is doable?

Mainly for the yield. It’s been cut for this year but half year report states they aim to grow share holder payouts again. Seems a bit unloved at the moment. Surely worth a punt at these levels? What do the More knowledgeable holders feel?

Changed in that the earliest anything can be heard is still 2022. The tribes bill if they get the signatures or the Dodds bill if it’s revived can’t be heard till 2022. So it’s still basically a long term waiting game here. Sadly we can’t expect too many fireworks here in the meantime. Hope I’m wrong

At 1.658 this afternoon to get my average down. It’s hard to keep track of what’s going on with the different routes and timelines to this going to a people’s vote. You’d have thought with the state needing cash ASAP they could circumnavigate everything and legalise the business at any stage

But my only conclusion is that this is a long way from being settled. Doesn’t sound as if we’ll know much for certain

Have to pass this tomorrow and then the state legislature will approve the bill for the governor to then give the people the final say. So a few more hurdles to go

This needs to be passed tomorrow night to go to a vote by the Californian people in November. Would I be right in thinking they could circumnavigate the need for a public vote and push this through legislation as the state needs every dime it can get. I think we can agree legalised gambling is coming to CA. It might just come sooner than expected

That’s spot on. If burnbrae have 63% that’s 247 million shares leaving just under 150 mill available. It can really squeeze when it moves. Can anyone report how many market makers are on the stock ?
