Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
We heard you earlier no need to repeat yourself
Pepco, I believe FN is correct, basically SSGI have us over a barrel.
We knew this was going to happen it was announced ages ago and I believe it is mainly for licences that have not been progressed for years rather than fairly new ones.
My understanding was that it was 3-6 months as they are already downt pit it was the funding for long lead items that's the issue.
FOOLS_NIGHTMARE Thank for clearing that up
FOOLS_NIGHTMARE, so was that from your chat with him at the investor show or elsewhere?
FOOLS_NIGHTMARE, where did you get the information on 9) ?
Is it me or does this scream something else.....why would we need a new broker who specialises in locating funding for junior miners, when allegedly we already have a number of offtake options in the bag, just waiting to get rid of SSGI and then off we go, or do we..just going to leave that one there for you to ponder hmmm.
Interesting that the first two posts are opposite ends of the scale. Why would we need another broker?
SandyShore459, is prefer a much smoother ride than this to riches, not good for the old stress levels. Risk v reward, very risky let's hope the rewards are conversely high.
As Sardy and ichi have kindly donated cheap shares to the market I have been increasing my holding. Averaging down to a more respectable low 0.2's. Good luck to you guys but I don't think it will fall below the 0.13p floor we had previously. Quarterlies are usually pretty naff indicators anyway so I don't really mind as long as we have regular progress updates with the promised project timeline. We already know we have defaulted on both contracts so no skeleton there. And finally of AP didn't have a stake would he be working this hard to secure a deal? I think not, this is his ticket to mid tier and has to make it work.
Technicality sandcrab
FOOLS_NIGHTMARE, I appreciate the positive diamond spin but currently we have nothing until financing appears. Even if we sold everything we wouldn't clear $45m debt as shown in the broker note. Can AP land a good deal that is the question? If I were a newbie here I'd either have a £2k punt or avoid like the plague until news. Unfortunately or fortunately depending on your outlook I've played my cards and can but hope AP has it in him. Hope is not a good investment tool.
Rob1967, technically speaking you are correct on most points albeit a little on the negative side. There is still headroom to get BP up and running but personally I've had enough dilution and would rather the offtake finance pay for that. We shall see what happens, if it goes under then it was a life lesson, if it turns around it pays off my house .
If we get an Offtake >0.6p is a sure bet imo. Especially if diamonds are in it too
Nope I know we are at defcon 1, we either get an offtake or we don't and we all lose our money. Between us we own considerably more than the BOD, shit I own more than most of them. So as long as it's a legitimate question that he can answer whilst he takes a dump I think he should. The discussions are not continuous 12hour days. They will prepare a doc which will be sent and deliberated for days may even be weeks before they have to do anything else on it. We all know that none of the offtakers will agree to anything until SSGI are dealt with, removed, taken out of the picture. What I want to know is, is that actually possible without lengthy court battles.
MullaneyJ13, you see that is where you are completely wrong, all CEO's should respond to emails, when they have time obviously. We the PI are free advertising for the rest of the PI's through a multitude of platforms, LSE/****ter/Facebook/hotcopper/Telegram to name a few. Even if you don't believe a word people say on these platforms it gets you thinking and researching. I myself have had a number of conversations with BA over at KOD, both phone calls and emails. It makes a lot of difference and can be the difference between keeping and losing an investor. I'm not saying go rant at AP and he should answer, be polite and present well argued comments and discussion or where clarity is required and he should respond accordingly, within the nomad rules of course.
findahappyplace, I emailed AP several times but he never responds. Vast resources slowly turning into PREM where George is nowhere to be found.
AP has changed his tune from the GM and podacsts, no mention of funding deal/s on the cards, just talks about restructuring and how we can be up and running in 3-6months if someone gives us the money or if we go to the market. That's one gargantuan placing 20billion shares here we come lol.
FOOLS_NIGHTMARE, looking forward to the update, thank you, have a fab day at the show.
