Still think GGP has something long term and it is not a one trick pony but badly managed for years but the new guy is shaking it up. I think Newmont walking was a genuine surprise and they may well be back sometime this year or early next. All a gamble here on aim, except here of course as it is a no brainer😀. However to many so was GGP until that careful January day, could be worse of course, could have been in FARN...

mwahahahahaha, it gets better out of interest where are you guys seeing trades. I often see people stating if something was a buy or sell and start talking about the price at a time but I do not see any record of historical pricing on LSE. plus people talk about these trades before they show up here.

try GGP, looks really interesting :) where did pararanger go, his comments (and timings) from some time ago could well be on the money? But I appreciate it was contentious at the time...

I wonder if this is a fishing exercise or the start of something but it is not like the recent spikes I have seen here an elsewhere with no substance. I am glad I did not try to trade as was sorely tempted as I need to recoup but have determined the best policy (for me) is to hold and be patient, too much potential news flow and I just cannot see it dropping much below the recent floor unless something catastrophic is announced. MM don't care what the price is as they make on every trade but something feels different. it would not surprise me to see a big move either way on the bell tomorrow, who knows this is AIM. good luck all and take it steady, this should not be life and death for anyone, be nice and the world is often nice back to you. bassguy.

It was some buy wasn't it? I reckon about �160k between them. Happy my average is the same as that buy. want to buy more but fell for that with GGP when things looked so good. ahhh painful

few spikes here and there but it is easy for people to get stuck initially. I still feel there is potential here but it is a definite longer hold for me. Good luck to those trading but personally I see the risk of selling now to buy in later a bit high as news could arrive any time soon. Out of interest if you sold 1,000,000 shares today at the peak which I think was 0.68 something and bought back in now you would have made around �200, which in my view is not worth it. I lost out big time before so am willing to hold but I have not invested more than I can afford to loose and that is the risk. It does feel like we have left the bottom for now however and if we gradually rise I will be more than happy. No need for anything personal on these boards, we are al here for the same reason. bassguy

I heard a podcast a while back suggesting 0.38p was a big resistance point, might have been Nic on Vox, not sure... Either way interesting times ahead now, I hope. I don't do charts so if anyone has any thoughts I am happy to read them :) bassguy

Actually Newmont went to Greatland following an RNS about EG, they were not appointed. They had a look around and decided not to proceed "at this time". back end of last year GH constantly stated he would hit EG hard in 2018 suggesting he was told to prove up before Newmont would be interested further. Of course Newmont may feel EG is a crock but I still feel there may have been discussion but the offer as poor, like the Goldstrike ( I think) one in Canada which was Sooooo one sided, interestingly this coincided with EG work so it may have been Newmont have filled their quote whilst keeping a toe in the water here, who knows. bassguy

Hi All. Interesting day, either a sniff of somethig on the wind, mm trader games or something more sinister. I recall a nice surge just before the newmont news dropped on our heads and I truely hope that this is not a spike prior to bad news re Havieron drilling. Anything could happen here... tomorrow is sure to be interesting as well. I am holding but was tempted to sell some around 0.7p thinking it woudl drop back but it seems to have held well which suggests it is not just trader spikes for those in the loop? just really hope Havieron RNS does not drop tomorrow highlighting poor news. Of course we may get something with really good news and there has been a hint thus holding todays rise. who knows gla bassguy

I thought majors only paid around 24 - 100 od dolars per ounce due to extraction costs? Surely this hugely reduces that figure, veryvhappy to be corrected however. Bassguy
