RE: Considering the date10 Aug 2018 12:38
Just a guess on my part Apple, the only reason for an interim would be if results are good to get us cooking again, if results are not so great I can see them dropping a 1 paragraph RNS saying oh well, on to Havieron now, fully funded etc etc, bonanza grade.
I am not worried for my now reduced investment as I do feel HAV and BH will be interesting but I just cannot shake concern re EG, I sincerely hope I am very, very wrong on that part. I freely admit to being a relative newbie but have learnt a lot over the last 12-18 months. The placing just felt odd to me when they had £3.5m in the bank anyway and I assume much of the current work paid for, or at least budgeted. If EG was looking good why not place after the news?
My strategy is simple, I got out after the second Hav RNS thinking it would tank (but not soon enough I admit), got back in when I felt it had stabilized at 1.40, but at a reduced amount, then the placing...I will now hold in case we get the EG news we want if so then great. If not and we tank back to 0.5 I will buy more and wait for HAV drills later in the year.
Nothing I am saying is intended to (overly) criticise the company, this is a risky business and everyone is so trigger happy I think it pretty impossible to please investors, what ever the BOD do someone gets hurt and they are damned if they do and damned if they don't so ultimately the BOD plays the game to get what they can whilst they continue to prove up the assets, which I feel has been done well since GH came on board.
time will tell
