Correct, it's always the 'middle' that get shafted. The wealthy can go elsewhere to pay no (or little) tax whereas your 'normal' man in the street carries on regardless. I'll just give mine to the kids rather than have Starmer, Rayner, Reeves etc giving it to the great unwashed.

Can't believe I've won again! If only my stock picking was as successful...

I bailed out on 30th July at 73.288p. Made a loss but rightly or wrongly I'd had enough. After dividends I just about broke even but would have been better in cash.

Longer term I reckon Vodafone will come good. Just feel there's better opportunities out there at the mo but given my track record I've probably made the wrong decision.

Anyway GLA and enjoy Ilkley Roofer. Plenty of worse places you could be (i.e. Barnsley!).

If you can't spend what you've worked for over the years I would be gifting it to your children/grandchildren if you have any as this labour government will be shafting your estate with inheritance tax in due course when Reeves does her budget.
