Wigster….Was excited about the Twinnings… Maude is now using the tea bags twice after which she hangs them out to dry… a little like us all here. I really do hope…actually pray now that Poly get involved. 70% survival rate in the seriously ill and we get… we are looking at hopefully convincing someone, somewhere, anywhere to let us have a trial. I am not a scientist but this lot are definitely not business people…. AGM for me. Hopefully see some of you there!!!!!
Bruce…..spreading risk? Lots of people on here…me included let the rule book slip and bought into the science…. Which for me has proven to be correct… safe is fine but no one gets rich being safe… i would rather be poor and have tried rather than being MR spread your risk…. each to their own (welsh hope thats the right their) but the drug works and its for me now just a matter of time.
Mani u will always be the NO1!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maude is back mate….. and its Twinnings all the way now. So nice to see the share climbing….. Been a tough 4 months for all.
Wigster… do u think Maude is back. Seriously hope so!!
65p please…….
Am i correct in remembering that the Activ 2 trial had no steroid use and that they took bloods on the first day.
No idea… one for the medical professionals.. Stanford uni did release a paper in 2020 which related to Interferon so maybe a chance there.
Size… I think the list are the centres that have been awarded the funding and not the drug… extract from release below. Happy to be corrected but thats how it reads to me
…..The AViDD centers will conduct research on the early-stage identification and validation of novel viral targets, with an eye to identify small molecules and biotherapeutics that directly block viral targets. “As drug candidates are identified and evaluated for properties such as potency and breadth, the most promising will enter late-stage preclinical development.” Importantly, the centers can draw on the resources of their industry partners to accelerate research, making use of the companies’ chemical libraries and expertise in moving candidates into the product development pipeline……
I am not a medical professional just an investor but thanks to some of the posters on here have become better educated in the science of SNG. What today’s RNS proved to me was what we all suspected, that the trial failed not the drug. Not only that but…direct quote …SNG001 significantly reduced the risk of progression to severe disease and death compared to placebo by 70% in the Per Protocol population….and that the drug is safe… Given that other drugs have applied for an EUA with far less positive results i cannot see why RM etal would not look to apply for an EUA. Maybe they will surprise us all or with some arm twisting from POLY be made to do so but again I am an investor not a medical professional.. although if one of my parents were in hospital and fell into the severe disease category i would be doing everything humanly possible to get the drug. Today was a good day and we still await Avtiv2 results which we know are positive. Here’s to a good week ahead.
Mani where are you? Its good news!!!!!!!!
trading4good.. thanks for insight. Lets all hope next week treats us all to a few smiles.
Tommy.. i whole heartedly agree.. but this isn’t a new car.. its a drug we know that works that failed its P3 trial due to failings that can be attributed to the way the trial was allowed to be conducted… so to use your analogy;
Its more like a second hand car that everyone is hoping will become a modern classic and its up for auction.. i for one would want to see it and walk around it before i bid to buy on the day of the auction… we are back to Rolf Harris in his MK2 Capri.. lets all hope its Mani’s purple stag and we all drive off into the sunset. In the end we all want the same thing so here’s hoping your right. Have a nice weekend all.
Totally agree
This reminds me of company policies back in the 1980’s. Keep everything secret. Don’t show your face. Only reveal when no other options.
Wouldn’t surprise me if RM pulled up in a Ford Capri, wearing Flares and platforms playing a stylophone. This is now so clearly a bunch of scientists led by Rolf Harris coining the phrase…. “can u guess what it is yet!!!!!!” I so hope i am proven wrong and they bang it out the park on Monday. Be the first on here to congratulate them but…… time for a beer. GLA
Can someone help me out here…. If you had good news to tell prior to a presentation to your peers and could deliver that news before the weekend and create some press and momentum around something that initially catastrophically failed why you wouldn’t deliver it. I can only speculate that
1. You have no news to tell
2. You are still crunching the data
3. Your incompetent and think a late reveal will work in your favour on the….” Just wait and see what we’ve got to show you” Even though everyone has been waiting now for over 3 months to see what you’ve got.
Trying to be optimistic but not easy with everything thats gone on. Happy weekend everybody and here’s hoping for something positive next week J
Tiger the reason you were ejected was because most of us on there were tired of your juvenile banter…as for me as i said before..your just a t@@t
Thanks for the spellcheck. I think everyone gets the drift
what there plan is moving forward
If there is anything positive to say they need to RNS it tomorrow or Monday. If we don’t get one by Monday i would anticipate the share to fall further. As for the AGM i would recommend people attend regardless of the potential RNS or ATS presentation. I intend or making an appearance. I like most had to average down and now hold more shares than RM so will expect an answer on whatbthere olan is moving forwaes
