Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Yes,great find.Surely you only offer jobs that need to be filled.Perhaps that FS could be out very soon.Expect an RNS very soon!!
well I guess our brilliant B.O.D are due some pay rises. The recent fund raising can surely be focused on giving them what they deserve after the way they have seen such a strong movement in our sp over recent years.Who can forget them paying £1 a share for BCN when the sp was about 20% less and then selling for much less soon after. There is not much that you can't get away with on AIM.Must go now to leave space for all the usual suspects to ramp this to death.I am only about 85% down now so feeling great.
when and if we will see production at Sonora. It seems many AIM companies are just vehicles for making money for the directors. Some mining companies have never mined anything. In the case of a small Irish oil explorer a huge oil find vanished.I suggest everyone googles Pandoras Box Investigations and takes the time to read it,look out for a couple of familiar names close to our hearts. It really opens your eyes!!
I am still concerned that he comes across poorly in interviews. He always looks uncomfortable to me and not very confident/convincing.As you said he seems to constantly tweet about the great future for Lithium which is no good for us if he can't get the funding.
Last thing that concerns is the hundreds of millions quoted to build a factory/plant.If we have already been producing via a pilot plant what additional structures are needed to just continue on a larger scale?Any ideas?
waccybaccy
google Canada Lithium -Peter Secker. There is a you tube video from 2013 explaining how they were about to go into production and he seems to be wearing the same clothes as in a Bacanora video in 2017.I believe he was unable to raise the funds to complete the project(sounds familiar).I have mentioned this before but nobody seems interested.Anyway he has a track record!!
Great spot Barksy.Massive increase in lithium supply needed up to 2025 as shown in that EU report. So BCN have a resource in Mexico ready to produce now plus one in central Europe. If BCN cant sort their funding out yesterday we need management in who can.Mr Micawber who has failed once before seems to still be hoping that something will turn up!!
at Canada Lithium when it came to fund raising. Is it time that someone else took over at the helm?
When you have amazing assets but the boss can't get them all working together you can do worse than to go for the Norway option and bring in a man who inspires the team and gets them winning again.
I studied the last online interview and felt Mr Secker looked uncomfortable and spoke in a 'Mayesque' tone repeating how well things were going.I felt it was a man talking in hope with little conviction, after all he has been here before!!
Hope he is not hoping for a Canada(Lithium) -style result!!.I can see us waiting longer than the British people will do for a final result here!
Well perhaps timing any notice until as close to the AGM as possible could inadvertently result in some sort of diversion or accidentally cause embarassment. Now are there any Mr Bean-type characters out there who might do such a thing.
Perhaps we will get an update on the legal action against the deceased founder over royalties. To be frank I would rather have put that money to better use and applied all efforts to getting this thing to production.Constantly tweeting about the great future for lithium is no bloody good to BCN shareholders if the stuff never gets out of the ground!!
I believe they thought making token monthly purchases over a set period would reduce the flack from shareholders. To be frank the job they are doing is so poor that no remuneration would be too much.If they really believe this company can survive they should be taking shares in lieu of salary. The catastrophic decisions made over recent times beggar belief and I expect they will move on to pastures new once there is no more money to be squeezed out of this company. This really is beyond incompetence.
Well it seems that directors of KDNC are even more stupid than I thought, except at leeching money out of their own company. As I have said before KDNC will end up selling all assets until the money runs out and they will then need to move on and find another vehicle to finance their lifestyles. It really is a scandal but hey this is AIM(An Incompetents way to earn Money)
good point Addicknt.I posted on KDNC last evening wondering if the money is needed for Xmas bonuses after the great work their Board has done over the past couple of years!
70k share buy and lots of smaller ones this morning.Time for the re-rate?
well that RNS bodes well.Let's hope we see some action soon to boost the sp.Main market listing sounds ambitious.
on here. Are we all fearing the worst as far as getting an eventual good outcome from our chief negotiator.
I think it may be better to shelve fund raising until we have got as much of the infastructure/plans in place.Surely the more advanced we are the more chance of getting funding on decent terms.Perhaps raising funds at 60p may not have been such a bad idea. That or engage the civil servants who have quietly done so much to keep us in the clutches of those lovely Brussels bureaucrats.
Just put a question to a leading smaller company fund manager about looking at companies in the lithium/battery space. He said they are struggling to identify value/prospects in this area!!!
well they have expertise in overseeing a decimation of an sp.Also paying themselves huge rewards for failure.Expertise in buying high and selling low in relation to the crown jewel.I guess recent sales of BCN have been needed to top-up the kitty.
If they had any sense of honour they would be telling us that despite all of this they were sure of eventual success and recovery of sp.Until that occurs the least they should do is forgo 'any' remuneration.
Anyway I have said my bit, just waiting for one of the cheerleaders to post a distracting message to big up our prospects when the reality is this company is most likely to continue to gradually slide into oblivion when all assets are sufficiently reduced and the gravy train runs out of gravy.
