Glad you are still here.The 2 posters on advfn seem to know a bit about what is happening.With the links between main shareholders/CEOs and company secretary involving this CQ and Stanhill it would be more of a surprise if CQ did not figure in a RTO,but as you say that does not preclude other deals.Stanhill and their main men specialise in buying shells and converting to something profitable.This one could just be the mother of all RTOs but I don't think many smaller investors understand what is going on.

I bought all at 0.5p so not caught on spike. Research who are the main shareholders and the fact that Mr Khan headed up TGL and is their largest shareholder.He is also main man at CQ and heads up Stanhill who specialise buying up underperforming companies and introducing wannabee unlisted companies/start ups via RTOs. What CQ are doing is cutting edge(check their site and see who is working for them).Maybe I should have said the next Microsoft but I think you get my point regarding potential. Also sneak a peek at an earlier posting here when I spoke to the guy who is company sec of both companies. If I were you I would stay clear of TGL as I can't guarantee it will be the next multibagger

I know as I got my 1m at .50p and could have sold and bought back more than double

With cat nearly out of the bag the herd will follow soon and buy what could be a huge multibagger

How close is RTO do you think?

Reverse Takeover where a company looking to get a market listing quickly/cheaply reverse themselves into an existing listed'shell' such as TGL.Maybe a wild coincidence but boss of TGL is also main man at unlisted Cambridge Quantum computing(google it and weep!!!)He is also boss Of Stanhill who specialise in finding and using shell companies!!

with Stanhill and Cambrige Quantum,all buys today and RTO could be very close

I guess IK would benefit greatly if he holds a high percentage of TGL shares and if CQCL were to reverse in.With his position at Stanhill and as a main man at both TGL and CQCL its seems possible that he could benefit from a RTO involving CQCL!!

he didn't say or imply that CQCL would be the RTO business reversing into here,just that at present,they are not bigger than TGL.With the common directors/officers and current shareholdings in CQGL,I guess IK could bring about the optimum situation by putting more of his own cash into them at any time he wanted in some form or other??

is the founder of Cambridge Quantum and its non-exec chairman and Stanhill funded the start up of Cambridge.Now I wonder how could CQ become a suitable RTO target.Oh and IK was CEO at TGL but has stepped down but holds around 12% of TGL shares

Just had a chat with Trevor Wells,the company secretary who confirmed he was also the CS of Cambridge Quantum.He said under RTO rules the company they RTO must be larger than TGL and for the present Cambridge Q are not.He confirmed they have until next June to complete theRTO but expected things to happen more quickly.He said they had a target lined up but decided in the end they did not quite fit the bill.I asked him if Charles Goodfellow was brought in to use his expertise to find the right deals and he confirmed. Trevor said he actually works for Stanhill Capital and their founder and senior partner Ilyas Khan held/holds around 12% of TGL shares.Look at Stanhill's site,it is very impressive and they have a track record of taking over struggling companies and transforming them.I get the feeling the Cambridge connection will bear fruit but something else may happen sooner.Trevor is a director of Stanhill and deals with compliance coming from a financial services background.I think the B.O.D will achieve great things here and are clearly activelt pursuing opportunities

value after RTO could be anything.If it is the Cambridge boffins Quantum company it may be very substantial

just checked and HUME have around £20m under management but performance on most of their funds is not great.This one part of their activities would be very attractive to a would- be predator as there seems scope for improvement and consequent increase in annual magaement fees/charges etc

good luck with WRN,I happen to think that things could move quickly here.Intrigued that large shareholder chose now to gift large share to sons.I think that for IHT puposes tax is based on value at date of gift so if you expected share price to rise,say due to takeover,now could be optimum time to gift.
