it's just driven by poor sentiment now and MM will make the most of it, as they are doing. However that sentiment will change to the good, just needs a little more time. Fundamentals etc are good and sooner or later the sp will reflect it.

Natdan, no probs, this is a discussion board and your views are very welcome. Another thing for me at least is that nowadays there seems to be fewer what I would call 'investors', meaning LTH. They jump around every five minutes from stock to stock, and there seems little stability anywhere.
I know many out of work or furloughed are now trying their luck 'investing' and I think it's mainly these folk causing volatility. I know there were some 'investors' on here who had not a scooby about what Ygen did other than working for NCYT.
All just my opinion of course!

the acquisition/debt route hasn't done Cnic any harm rgds sp. They are up over 100% in the last 9 months or so. Not sure what their debt is now but it must be substantial.

most new/start up AIM outfits have an early period of sp growth spurt on sentiment alone before realisation sets in and the riches are not what they first seemed.
Most will then suffer a fairly spectacular sp drop to a fraction of what it once was. The good companies will ride this and flourish like YGEN will do.The others will fall by the wayside and usually disappear after founders/directors have taken retail holders (usually) to the cleaners with outlandish salaries/options etc when the good times were there.
There is a very solid foundation under Ygen now, and we have reached a pivotal point in the company whereby b/e is a thing of the past, and all now points to good profitability.
Exciting new products to launch etc etc. All this in the middle of a world crisis and little old Ygen is growing and growing! We all need to get a grip on reality sometimes..just look at all those companies going bust right now let alone all the death and destruction going on around us.
I can't see many other solid safe places for my money atm!!

yes pacman, we sure do have distribution set up now.Unfortunately there only seems to be short term/day traders nowadays following each other around looking for the next rainbow.Just causes havoc and you only have to look at the Covid stocks to see that. Most buy high and sell low and try and make good on the next 'rainbow'. lol.

Walbrook apparently have confirmed that Ygen Clarigene detects TWO genes as opposed to NCYT one. Maybe we can get into France with our product now.

Maybe I am reading too much into this, but ...

I notice on the company Infectious Disease page it states that "The Yourgene Health Clarigene™ Sars-CoV-2 test (96) is a PCR-based COVID-19 assay to detect SARS-CoV-2 virus RNA targets to confirm the presence of the virus."

The phrase "RNA TARGETS" implies that we identify multiple (ie more than one) gene targets.

The article below states that the Novacyt product has been developed with one single gene target and is a reason why France's public health body has not yet approved the test for reimbursement.

Could it be that multiple gene targets (if true) is a technical advantage over the Novacyt product ????

probably, because it certainly affects sentiment, and at the moment it all seems negative!
