It is Bl00dy obvious that they are in the top of the well, they must be to start the open hole horizontal drilling. I bet GL and his team are very excited at this time, what he is saying is if the open hole is a succsess without any issuse this is done and dusted as Gas must be showing up from where they are. Just my opinion of course

Personaly I thing Gas as already been encountered and the horizontal open hole needs to be done carefully so they get full production.Just my opinion of course.

On this timetable, if there are no issues, the well can be declared a technical success by the middle of the month.To say this at this time does that not tell you anything. They no more than they are saying that is for sure.

They would be into the top of the Gas before drilling the open hole horizontal.They could have had signs of Gas from this depth, anyone else think the same.

If they manage to get the casing down through the motherbore cut window into the newly drilled section OK then I would expect them to have casing in over a 24hr period, then cement the casing in place, 24hr period ( including curing), then drill cement out that will be in the very bottom part of the new casing, 24hr period, then almost certainly they will need to run a cement bond log over the new section to prove the casing is fully cemented in behind the casing wall, 6 hr period.
I would say they "should" be back to start drilling the horizontal section by Tuesday, all being well & without any minor issues.
Does it concern you that we are now at Thursday and no news has of yet.

I was asking if it would be that simple. From your reply obviously not. I new about the £200 million quoted but that was years ago. Things have moved on from those times tech wise.

As far as I can see they have a pipeline from Saltfleetby to the national grid nothing to stop them reversing the flow back to Saltfleetby and back into the ground.Anyone else think the same or is that to simple
