Hedging is holding back profits and will come to end soon enough. Kenya, merger, Gas....reduced debt, lower interest payments, oil price increasing...just hold them if you want to consider it a 2 year play or sell up and move on now! Bleating about things and staying in the game makes no sense!!!

This is being held at this level and to be honest could go either way. When it does move it will explode either direction. When news breaks this will be one of the most traded shares in the 250 with people clamouring to get hold of them or dump. Really quite exciting and it’s not too far off……gla x

Thanks Wok. I see where you’re coming from but as far as I can see Cap only have money in the bank and no means of making much more through production. Are they just wanting a better ratio based on todays sp? If so then it means that both Bods and their advisers have miscalculated otherwise both boss wouldn’t have agreed the deal. I still think that TLW will pull a rabbit out of the hat in the coming 2 months regarding Kenya and/or production which will lift their share price and Cap will fall as sentiment changes. To me it makes sense to sell Cap now and buy Tullow at a discount to the 3.8 offered but as a Luddite I might be wrong. Regardless, I hope everyone gets what they’re looking for! Gla x

Then wouldn’t Capricorn be surging towards the £3+ figure the investment funds are demanding? Seems the market doesn’t agree with them at this time. I wonder if they might have a few sour grapes on their palettes ?

Nothing to do with volume. It’s the sentiment surrounding the hope that the merger doesn’t go through and the hopeful valuations put on Capricorn by the largest shareholders.

Need to rub in some more, vigorously I guess. 3pm is fast approaching………
