Guident is the big one. Hopefully float will be quickly out of the blocks. TEK could easily double on Guident float in my view

So from y.e June 22 to June 25 admin expenses have increased 2.4 times while there is a strong argument results and share price is worse.

Someone needs to get a grip.

Ultimately this is good news. I suspect we are paying the price for the lack of guidance prior to starting testing. The whole way this has been handled is poor. It won't affect the end result and potentially creates an opportunity but you do wonder what the though process was.

I have sat and listened a long time about 50% discount to NAV being the appropriate valuation matrix. Almost the opposite of this is enterprise valuation. I suspect Guident when listed on Nasdaq will follow the latter valuation method.

"Dividend is not keeping up with inflation" not convinced this is a true statement in July 2021 share prices was 29.5p. During the period including current ex dividend the company has paid 11.75p in dividends reinvested this is compounding gold in my opinion.

The statement below won't be true if Guident gets taken over in the future for several hundred million dollars

Which in my opinion it will be

Aspers - if Tek reduces its Guident stake at IPO stage & announces a special dividend, its SP will rise.

If it either holds onto its full current holding or part-sells, reinvesting the proceeds into some new AI venture, longer term the SP will continue to slide.

Questions

1) If this is your view of Guident why on earth would you ever invest in TEK

2) Are you just using Tek to promote see fwiw no one is interested

3) Are you just a shorter

Very interesting interview. The IP portfolio alone for Guident has been independently valued at $32m. Our current 70% holding in Guident values our share of the IP alone at a higher figure than the latest accounts number

TEK is looking like it has a long way to run

This debate will run forever and it ultimately depends on each persons exit goal an attitude to risk.

So far TEK have done well to bring 4 investments to market soon to be 5. Small cap success/failure rate is always going to be volatile that's the nature of the beast and it is fair to say that to date investments haven't fully and some have failed to deliver and ultimately disappointed. This is against a backdrop of the worst sustained UK capital markets for small cap probably in more than 50 years. Access to capital is poor to say the least through the whole of TEK's journey.

We are we are as they say.

Current NAV is significantly above the share price and while the market values shares at 50% of NAV it will never look great so we come to exits and timing on exits.

Once Guident is floated TEK will be a low overhead business as demonstrated by yesterdays results and their need for capital will be low.

At which point I want TEK to hold on to its investments at this point in time as I believe Guident and Microsalt are both very special companies and will deliver massive upside in the next couple of years and this is when we should exit for very special dividends at multiples of the current share price. Not at the same scale Genip is building a very nice business under everyone's radar that as a direct investment may turn out to be soemthing very special in its own right.

Guident IPO looming large significant re rate on the way. The clue is in the board this group are all at Guident because they know they have a hugely significant opportunity
