We actually went to Tirana last October the countryside was exceptionally poor but Tirana was really upmarket. The country has moved from poor to lower middle class through aid from the EU and selling oil to surrounding countries mainly Italy. I too think my investment in Ast has gone down the swanee mainly through inept management but heyhoe I maybe surprised.
