"The article concludes that ‘at 462p, shares in the aerospace and defence group trade on a modest 12 times forecast earnings, making it cheap relative to peers’.
as does yahoo finance mentioning Neil Woodford’s portfolio. One of the holdings is BAE Systems, which has an excellent price-earnings ratio when considered alongside other blue-chip options. BAE shares appear attractive, Woodford keeps them because he ‘has a longer-term view of companies than many in the City, and is looking beyond the current subdued spending in BAE’s major US and UK defence markets’.
