you and I know that... (I sold there around 11p - way too soon before the rise!) - but the unresearched got spooked by someone other than the company saying it... those who had researched knew it was coming at some point anyway... yet some seem surprised. ...

I didn't go on there and "deramp" though once I sold - not my style!

As for some that say social media (including this site) can not affect a share price - look what TW did to AAOG yesterday... one article with the word "probably" or something like that dropped the price 20%.

Because no one read that there was an improved offer they just let the "derampers" lead them to believe the company is obviously going bust due to this delay.

As Ive said... not even the bondholders know what the improved offer is yet - only the management. Could be a "cant refuse" amazing deal which makes Mondays meeting a given. Or could be just to ensure the concerns of the BH's raised from the last offer are met.

They want agreement. And they are doing their best to get it... this isn't a brexit meeting... though it feels like it ;)

Also lots took position for a rise towards close and the meeting. Delay meant they had a whole week to get back in so they sold to chase spikes elsewhere... just like any oil company with a delay in results / flow rates ;)

Well here's your answer... no one took the time to translate the RNS. No one knew why the delay and let their panic set in from de-rampers here saying that 4p is coming etc (yes some unfortunately do listen to them...)

"Market doesnt like delays" - there was a delay last week... it dropped a bit then rose higher than it started at.

NO ONE other than the company knows what the "improved offer to bondholders" is...

Could mean one of a few things:

1) Offer is cheaper for bondholders
2) Bondholders will be offered a bigger cut
3) New or improved offer in for the company which the bh's should be made aware of pre-decision.

See how much surprise there was that the actual reason for the delay was stated in the PDF!! All the questions asking why the delay etc could have been answered with a simple translation of the document.

IMO - But then Im a (researched) ramper as opposed to your un-researched guaranteed 4p poster.

I too have emailed the company for clarification on a few things. Says 24 hours for reply generally so have to wait...

so the company are going to make a new improved offer to the bondholders to ensure they agree a deal. to me sounds good news. how can they make an improved offer?!? what would enable that?!? ramp ramp.
