Is it not the 90-minute LamPORE test that was announced in August, developed by Oxford Nanopore? Apologies if I’ve missed something, but appears to fit the bill (doesn’t need to be administered by a clinician, result in 90 minutes, detects COVID and flu etc.,and the government has already ordered a quantity)

The Cepheid test is developed and produced by Cepheid though isn’t it, and nothing to do with Nova/ Primerdesign? I don’t see the connection between Gasman tweet content and nova (other than him adding #ncyt etc.)

I’m not so sure. It hasn’t been consistently easy to get a quote to sell a moderate number of shares since around 16:00 yesterday - so there doesn’t appear to be a desperation to gather shares.

Some consolidation for a while perhaps, which if it happens around this level will be a good sign imo, ahead of further updates next month.

Ox isn’t the distributor we’ve recently had a trial with! That is mr checkout. We’ve been supplying ox’s Colorado petrol station shops from the very start. They are long time friends/ associates of some of our staff/ directors iirc (though might have been RP, I’m not sure - which makes sense if they’ve had his warrants).

Leemuu - order numbers don’t work like that I’m afraid, it was discussed a while ago (can’t remember when, or whether it was on here or within a separate chat group). The conclusion was that there appears to be no correlation between order numbers and actual number of orders.

Jbatch, the company is not making any profit and has never claimed to be. I suspect that you must have misread the recent RNS. We may do next year with several assumptions made (namely around seeds as retail isn’t going to get us there yet) but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. We are making a loss still; cash consuming as the company more eloquently puts it.

I’d buy into the theory we’re it not for the fact that the same message that you suggest might worry SNPC into action has (and always would) also decimated the share price - which in turn has severe implications for the ISA agreement.

If that was the intention then it would more likely have been done behind closed doors and not by means of an RNS. It possibly did happen behind closed doors and SNPC were unmoved, hence having to now inform the market. So in summary I would say almost definitely not.

You could actually speculate the opposite to be the case, that JB didn’t want SNPC to know that without them we can do nothing more. They hold the cards in the new licence negotiation so if they stand their ground a bit longer they might feel that the ownership could become all theirs again in a matter of time. I certainly hope not.

I don’t think that Zoetic could be considered as an experienced seed producer, not yet at least. Not quite a seed producer at all just yet - but hopefully close.

It would be nice to have similar news that we have engaged a seed distributor because it could appear that Iofina are already a step ahead of us in that respect.

CliffEdge - the £17.55m figure is the value of the entire share capital (number of shares in issue multiplied by the nominal value of each share of 0.25 of a penny). The change in the share capital since last allotment of shares on 2nd Oct appears to be £2046.66 which equates to 818,664 new shares issued by my reckoning.

Indeed. 23% could never be considered ‘ballistic’ when the average LTH here needs somewhere in the region of 300% to 500% to ‘break even’.

600% + starts to get towards ballistic territory. It’s a long long road ahead, but hopefully it’ll start soon (if it hasn’t already).

I think that it’s a positive for us that he’s back on board, even if he could arguably have been considered central to many if not all of the strategic decisions taken during his time at HNR.

Very subjective assertion, especially for us LTH’s. I’m down more in ZOE than I am in SXX even after today’s carnage over there. Not particularly happy in either at present but pretty confident that SXX will at least partially recover quite quickly and hope that ZOE might recover eventually as well.

The report says that Cannaray have a product though because they are already importing cannabis to the UK that is being used to treat patients who have been prescribed cannabis treatments for a range of conditions. They are also in talks with supermarkets with a view to having CBD oil products on shelves by next February. Those are the differentiators, along with the prospect of the product being grown in the UK in the future, which would be a big draw for some (as we hope our home grown will be in the USA). The company appears to have a board of directors with a lot of experience in biotech and other areas of science which will also be an attraction to investors. They have £8m of cash to get started and are partnered with the UKs biggest potted plant grower who will grow the product for them.

That aside, the £100m possible valuation quoted is just a figure plucked from the air by the journalist, so not worthy of being used as a benchmark.

Looks like, from twitter and current volume evidence, that it’s become a trader’s plaything for a while. I fear that we should expect rollercoaster like pumps and dumps for the foreseeable future. Hope that it doesn’t put genuine investors off
