Soder -
"This is an INVESTMENT opportunity like none I have ever seen down here."
Yeah I get your drift Soder, I agree with the above.
The good news is that the toilet cystern has been sold, and I'm trying to sell ABBA albums now, (stamp collection next).
Anything to generate more cash before the slowly reducing sp spikes on news.
But here's the thing though.
I happen to believe GM removed debt at the earliest opportunity, and does not want to provide recent sales or financial data to a predator, (and there must be a few of those by now).
Mid-cap status is GM's aim (but how many billion pounds?), and under present circumstances, he has not one but two governments who have legislated to discourage takeovers of companies like Novacyt. (It's in the spreadsheet).
That suits GM fine as he introduces new product after new product, and generating cash from global as well as UK sources, building the business in record time.
So here I am thinking how many shares can I grab right now, - at this weeks fire sale prices.
But the truth is I don't know when I am going to be able to realise full value for my investments.
True value will not be realised until the market can properly value Novacyt, and GM's deliberate lack of openness with recent sales and revenues means sp will usually be well below true value.
Ergo if you invest in NCYT, you cannot expect sp to be near true value, unless (possibly) the time for the next annual report approaches.
Before long I expect we will have A&M news, which will not make the situation clearer, but I am assuming that profits will be accretive.
My view is becoming that Graham will keep revving the engine and building the company in the same rip-roaring fashion as this last year, until a decent offer lands.
He is not going to say 'there's not much more to do here', there will always be the next project.
A takeover is the only way I can expect profits to be crystallised, else Graham will carry on doing what he's now doing, and I won't get full value.
So I'll still buy more shares this week, but in the knowledge that only a buyout realises full value.
