MrTibbles I looked up the other day how long ig would take to build a mine that produces gold and its between 15 and 20 yrs so in one respect you are right about these little exploration companies, although that is no different to ourselves, will we ever produce gold from our Africa mines I doubt it It would also seem investors want risk and reward quickly instead of profit, dividend etc,and that's probably one reason the share price is low because investors are buying Greatland or Orusur where you get a 10 bagger in a matter of months and then sell and move on
Surely the plant can only run at a certain capacity, and how viable would it be for other companies to transport it perhaps 50 miles sway Surely the logical explanation is to award Cey the ones closest to Sukari
I have looked at the Altus maps but to me they are just blocks and I dont know if they were the ones Cey were after and didnt get or are there others Perhaps Siko can shed some light on it
How has someone been able to sell 15m shares in a single trade which is almost 3 times the daily average,i thought it would have taken a few days to sell this amount
My first post was trying to give reason to Whatamess with regard to the share price being low, which like you have stated they are other factors ie lower production and higher costs I am just saying that things could get worse should we have a correction anytime soon It could be many months away and gold could get to above 2000 in the next few months so things could look different then We need news either on Affrica joint venture or on the new licences to give us a boost
Spindler I was just trying to make a comparison of what could happen to the share price bearing in mind that gold is about 150 dollars more than in March yet the share price is alot cheaper That doesnt look good to me
Cey has not got alot going for it at the moment, with production down and costs up as well as the gold price and the FTSE to contend with I dont know when but there will be a market correction at some point and if its anytime whilst the share price is at this level then I see it going down to 70p range Just look at the correction in March when Cey price was 143 and it went under a pound
I was in this share about 3 yrs ago and was tempted again after the recent fall. The only thing that bothers me is any fine that could be imposed on the company
I would like to think they could get a JV but if you look at the top 10 oil companies you can exclude the likes of Shell,Bp Petrochina,Saudi,Gazprom,Rosneft,so only really leaves Exon,Total,Chevron
Let's assume that oil is found in sufficient quantities to be viable and the well is sealed Then what happens Potter stated the other day that if they went alone on a production it could take 5 yrs Will they get a partner and if not how will they fund it
The price rocketed a few weeks ago so perhaps a little consolidation for a while to find its level 420 posts already perhaps some people are rather concerned especially if they bought in the last few days
