Level, it's not so much fascination, as curiosity. As I progress through life I like to learn as much as I can about all sorts of things. This is just such a thing. One day perhaps my brain will explode with all the knowledge :)

But as a very LTH I share your concern about the current price. I've remained loyal, and have topped up several times in the hope that James will eventually pull a rabbit out of the hat. Let's hope it's not just its foot.

I understand what a late reported trade is, but in the case of this 1,000,000 trade, presumably it was sold in chunks at Best Price through the day. The bid started the day low and increased as the day progressed. Does this mean that the final price shown for the million trade is the price achieved for the last chunk at the end of the day? That could explain why it shows as a buy.
Or in an ideal world should that final price shown be the average of all the trades that made up the total sale, in which case it would more correctly be shown as a sell?
Any brokers out there that can clarify this?

This means that only a relatively small amount of gas needs to be there for it to be commercially viable. Why did you interpret it otherwise?

Funny how that unusually high number of "1" share transactions the other day were followed by two decent RNS's. And how those big buys late yesterday were followed by today's news. Just sayin'. (I'm still solidly behind SOU as a firm believer with a considerable holding,and have been for years. Holding tight and sending good vibes to the team).

Interestingly, even if we allow 30% for the first well, 60% for the second, and 90% for the third, the chance of all 3 coming in is still only 16%. Figures can be made to read pretty much anything. I'm holding.

Good point KTF. If the wells were in different countries the maths would be justifiable, but yes I agree that if one well is successful, there's a greater COS in the next, and even higher for the third. Interesting maths!

Dreams do come true though! I'm a LTH with a large holding since almost the beginning, and I'm holding out for the LE - all the way.

Using those maths, the likelihood of all 3 coming in is 0.3 x 0.3 x 0.3 = 2.7%.
