Q2 could be end of June so could be three months away yet. The share price was around 270 at the middle of January - now sitting at around 170 so even a great sale will not make up that and we could still have another three months of erratic behaviour before anything related to teh sale is announced.
I suspect we could be looking at top managemengt change in the not too distant future

Whay do you have to believe the number from teh board was at the top end of expectations - really dont understand that logic. The fact is they dont know - thats why external auditors were called in. They dont know what they dont know!!

The market certainly does not share your sentiment as this continues to work its way down.

The longer they take to announc ethe outcome of the external audit the more concerned i become as to what it is going to reveal. No new date for 2021 results has been set (TBC).
They need to get this done and update on asset sale before the SP is going to budge from where it is now (upwards or downwards). All new announcements of late seem to be about recruiting high position high salary personnel with nothing adding to teh bottom line.

I was tempted to snap some up today but didnt. I got some a week or so ago and Im burnt on them at the moment.
Didnt snap today as Im starting to think there may be better opportunities in this beat up market which will give me some dividend and less risk. I dont think this one is bad - asset sale may give dividend back etc. but Im losing the stomach for it at the moment. See what tomorrow brings - you may get your 150p!!

all good points and who knows what is around the corner.
My main concern in all this as it relates to Wood is the fact they are not really an oil and gas service company now.
Im so far in now its just a case of wait and see. So glad I dont "need" to cash out at the moment

I dont believe Wood has any exposure to Russia.

Dont see any signs of shorters getting out which doesnt bode well for this being at the bottom.

Anyones guess with everything thats going on at the moment. Brave man who makes predictions on bottom but its clear its not there yet

I bought into some at around 186p today which I also did the last time it reached these levels. Asset sale will move this and its not a short term one for me.

Thats how i see it and if that is what it is then the delay to the announcement of 2021 accounts is perplexing especially given they are saying guidance for 2021 and 2022 remains unchanged. I have a niggling feeling there is more to this.

Not really about how us poor smucks read it - its the headline which seems to be having the effect on the price. As I said before it doesnt bode well for the sale they are currently trying to complete - what else is buried?

Can see this one with another substantial drop today as yesterdays announcem,ent filters through. Noted delayed announcement of 2021 results - anyone pick up on a revised date for that?

My concern now is the sale they trying to make. I know thwy had suitors but this news is related to Legacy AFW business and the consultancy piece they are selling is legacy AFW. As a buyer I'd be very very cautious

This is going to take one hell of a beating - albeit just on the headline. Overall news on Russia will hit the whole market and oil price will rocket.
As you say guidance is still the same for 2021 and 2022.
Really just holding in there till it settles a bit.

Finding it hard to keep in on this one. It seems to me the market has gotten over the update and decided the sale strategy is not that great. Its dropping heavily most days now.
