I dunno JAdam. A CEO is the head of the ship. If they sell, I get concerned. The same way I did in Avacta. Who knows why the directors made a decision to sell. Probably multi bagged like you say you did. Sometimes it's more nerve racking being in such profits. Again, good luck.
Not the CEO though is it buddy?
Dibs. In six weeks time I'll be enjoying the fruits of my investment choices in an opened up society. I certainly will not be making a note to prove people wrong on a share investment BB, especially when I am not invested in that share. Each to their own though! You pay for this service too?
Maybe you should sell your shares PotteryExpert. Doesn't look like you are too confident.
I would say that it was co-ordinated, a single RNS & it was obviously known that it wouldn't be a positive. To put good spin, it shows that it was a collective decision & the CEO sold zilch.

The Prime Minister said that the Government was looking at using lateral flow tests to open up the beleaguered hospitality sector, as he played down the prospect of implementing “vaccine passports” within the UK.
He told a Downing Street press briefing: “I think for the purposes of this country and doing tithings within the domestic UK economy, we will look at everything.
“But what we are thinking of at the moment is more of a route that relies on mass vaccination…plus lateral flow testing, rapid testing for those bits of the economy that are the toughest nuts to crack, such as nightclubs or theatres, those parts of the economy we couldn’t get open last year, and I think that will be the route that we go down and that businesses will go down.”
Could be a buy. Could be a sell. Nobody here knows.
Who do think they'll sell the pre-owned, depreciated machinery to? A lateral flow specialist possibly.
161p.
It will never be allowed yet LJ. Too many nervous PI's that probably thought today was the news to sell on. Lateral Flow is here to stay, when it's under control here, antigen will still be turned out for those unfortunate countries last in the list for the vaccine. Antibody tests then after. CD4, which maybe in the governments foreign aid headlights now they've taken control of the foreign aid budget & of course Food Intolerance & the billions of Chinese citizens & LA health freaks. Then of course the TB & Meningitis tests in devolpment. Don't forget, hyperthetically these will be made on government machines. What better way to promote Global Britain.
Lateral flow validation prioritisation criteria:
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/lateral-flow-validation-prioritisation-criteria-for-rapid-diagnostic-assays-for-specific-sars-cov-2-antigens
"DHSC will no longer validate lateral flow devices that only allow for a nasopharyngeal specimen collection method. Instead, the instructions for use (IFU) for the lateral flow device must contain a specimen collection method that allows for one or more of the following sample types:
anterior nares
mid-turbinate
oropharyngeal
saliva
This list is written in priority order: lateral flow devices submitted with a specimen collection method higher up on the list will be prioritised for validation."
Looks like it's Boris being Boris.
A long lunch involving a few bottles of red wine, great food & conversation is the way to ease up & get deals done with potential clients. Eating a Pot Noodle in your undies & hiding your lunchitme wine in a mug on Zoom is, shall we say, less enjoyable.
I'd easily pay a ten spot to find out if i was asymptomatic when other members of my household had it. Probably triple that for an individual test in a chemist.
Doesn't the FT itself only publish leaked stories with at least two sources?
Mologic have probably signed a collab because the R&D side has been nailed for their Antigen test. To help others (us) develop a test is a great sign for Avacta. It may not be the full IP but with help from other companies scientists it looks like this will finally get over the line. Testing is the new norm for the foreseeable.
Really? I still think this will come good eventually but they are mighty straws to be clutching at.
IF our test has higher sensitivity by say 5%. The fact that Mologics is trialled, CE marked & nearing TT for full scale manufacturing then the Govt obviously have to go for that. A month of TT is not worth balking over a few %. That's assuming ours is superior of course. Will add on a dip early doors though.
Wouldn't be surprised to see their capacity increased from 2M per week. In bed with Mologic from the start & the CEO always over delivers.
Dr Weiner on Bloomberg now.
Another positive article for lateral flow devices

"The World Nano Foundation and pandemic experts say regular mass use of inexpensive lateral flow rapid antigen test kits is now the way to beat back against COVID-19, its variants and future virus threats."
