Stumpy…..to be fair I very rarely get it right. It just worked for me today….it took a few minutes to buy as it was in auction for the first few minutes but then I got in at 363. I didn’t plan to trade as it was a great entry price but when I looked back 30 minutes later it was 385 so I decided to cash in.

Re invested into Jet2 as that has taken a fall first thing so will see where we go from here. Longer term all the airlines good value right now for just holding onto.

The quickest 6% profit ever. Bought at 363 and out 35 minutes later at 388.

Still a bargain but will wait to see where it goes later today.

I think it is pretty bad form that the TEK board are not keeping us updated on the reasons that the GDNT IPO has been delayed.

We are now nearly 4 months on since the initial planned IPO. The silence is not only deafening but also quite concerning now.

Well done to one and all for sticking with this for the last few years.

I decided this morning to finally dump the last of my holdings on todays nice rise. I will now watch from the sidelines, but will certainly be back once I see the dust start to settle.

Lots of other great bargains out there at the moment so I may try my hand elsewhere.

Hopefully it won’t be too long before I am back.

Aimy…….the Guident IPO has just been around the corner for 4 months now. How many more corners do we need to turn before we see the end of the tunnel?

Divi……to be precise you need to be holding the shares at close of play on the 22nd to get the dividend. You can sell on the opening bell on the 23rd if you should choose to and you still get the dividend.

I will just be holding till as such a time that the ex div day price has recovered to the pre ex div price or greater.

Like a few here I have parked all my spare capital here as it seems as safe a place as any whilst the Wee orange head is throwing a tizzy fit.

The list below that you have copied only shows the average buying purchase price of all shares bought and sold. The sales only shows the average buying price of the share and not the price that they were sold for. It is used to calculate your gains and losses for cgt against the actual sale price. You would need to look on my trading history to see tge sale price obtained.

All in all my trading on SALT has made me about 140%

Frank…….don’t feel sorry for me. I was the one that held £250k of CNA at an avg of 140. I sold in the high 30’s making a £169k loss. In an attempt to recover my loses I bought into the Cruise lines as I was hoping for a quick recivery there once tge covid vaccine was discovered. That didn’t quite go to plan.

Needless to say look where CNA are today! Not far off £2, if I had just ridden the storm my £250K would be well over £300K The moral of the story is don’t turn a paper loss into a real loss.

Frank and Lord……Don’t worry about me and how I have done. I am happy to say that SALT has certainly been good to me as buying on IPO and trading in and out as it went well above £1 I have done OK.

At the same time I sold a fair chunk of TEK to finance the initial SALT purchase……folk on here said I was crazy as buying SALT though TEK made more sense…….they were wrong as SALT rose well over 100% whereas TEK moved about 30% in the same time frame.

I was left with about £30k of TEK at an average of 14p. I dumped half a few months back at 12 p making a loss as I decided the money was to be better used elsewhere. Therefore I still have just under £15k of TEK which are presently 50% down…..if and it is a big if and we see a bounce if and when GDNT float I will be out of this sh 1t for good.

Frank…….it is only a buying opportunity if there is light at the end of the tunnel. I have been in TEK far too long and that tunnel just seems to get longer. Sadly I have seen it all before, BELL was a classic example.

I still have faith in SALT as they seem to have a great product, hopefully one day we can get back to SP we reached not long after the IPO.

You know when Wozzer is back with his constant ramps that things are getting desperate. I wish with my rather large holding here I had his confidence in going forward but sadly not.

Things have dragged on too long with the GDNT proposal to float…….I smell a rat, and Wozzers constant ramps only add to the smell. 👽

Amy…….please explain how the GDNT IPO seems to be moving well? The only evidence that it is going to happen is the constant amendments that they keep putting out.

If it is going so well why do the GDNT investor relations folk refuse to respond to their email link which now appears to have been shut down.
