I would have been happy to take up a Rights Issue @ 2.30. I suspect that they went for a placing because they get the funds much quicker. Suspect the placing was filled very quickly, prob could have raised much more. Anyway we have the results to look forward to, they should be good.

Very positive news this morning, I won't be selling any time soon. Results in 5 weeks?

Price has been a little weak in 2018. I expect it will be somewhat higher when you get results in March. I'm expecting another great set of results & a 10% increase in the annual dividend.

BIRG has been very strong for the past few days, AIBG share price has been on fire since the IPO. Have a look at the BIRG chart and compair it to AIBG. All change, BIRG is now flavour of the month. I hope it continues for the rest of 2018.

Just back over consolidation price, hope it keeps going. �8 to �9 this year would be very welcome.

There were 2 articles in The Times this morning, the 2nd considered this point, it mentioned that GVC could be a target for a company with no exposure to gambling & with very deep pockets: Google. Don't know if the writer thought today is April 1st. However if somebody wants to get a fat cheque book out ............ I do own GVC, not Google

I wonder what the chances are of a bid for GVC prior to the Lads deal being completed? Interesting times.

As you say Adams may be moving on however the back room boys will still be there. It would be great fun if SF ended up keeping May in a job. That would take the smile off a few faces.
