The thing I worry about most, interest rates rise and Cineworld not being able to meet its payments and going bust. But if Cineworld can stay open at the start of next year depending on Omicron, Cineworld has a significant upside.
I like your optimism Clued, hopefully it wont take a few years for me to realise any gains, but it needs a 100% increase for me to break even, though I'm patient, I shall wait
PrettyWild, indeed, problem is, the truth no longer matters in this world, only spreading fear.
We have had some good news, but along with high amounts of shorters, we have a lot of debt and with interest rates possibly going to rise, concerns over the ability to make the payments loom overhead, probably make it a share that isn't very attractive, despite the upside potential

I am down around 50% now, but in terms of adding more it's probably unwise to throw good money after bad.
Just stick with what you have and wait a few years and hope we don't go bankrupt in the mean time
Fool is precisely the word, they should be investigated to be honest, they post a daily article on Cineworld either telling you to buy or that it's going to go bankrupt depending on their holding at the time of writing. Fool is nothing more than a scam to trick investors into doing what they wish, to make money off Cineworld
When you have been waiting for over a year for GDR to actually sell their gold standard test and failed, had a plafing already and spent the money on the wages of the board and consistently let down their shareholders you will understand how many feel.
The fool recycle the same articles day after day.
I wouldn't worry about 100% capacity, saw black widow 3 days ago and there were 7 people in the theatre
Well, over 9% drop so far today, probably best off waiting, if a share can drop so heavily, today being the largest drop so far, we probably aren't very close to the bottom yet
Are distanced seats an issue? I'm watching Black Widow tonight in my local "Group 3" (meaning premium cinema location) Cineworld and so far there are 17 booked seats!
Latpulldown, I don't think these massive investment companies worry about whether you sell your few thousand shares or not
