Every investor here seems to have got it wrong. The swapped shares were always owned by the family which controls both Bharti Airtel in India and Bharthi enterprises. This is just an internal juggle to settle the distribution of the vast Mittal empire with no consequences to company or other private/ institutional shareholders. Someone is taking advantage by shorting it putting up a few negative newsfeed. I have infect increased my holdings today. My expectation is a minimum 50 % gain in the next 8 months. Happy to wait

I sold out on the rise early today as the announcement clearly not definitive that it will be a producer well. I am given to understand by those who know more about drilling announcements than myself that there is clearly doubt about the productivity of the drilled well based on todays results. If anyone can elaborate it will be helpful. If positive I might try and buy back.
