Kribi Refinery & Terminal: The $622M Kribi refinery is expected to start partial operations (10,000 bpd) in the second half of 2026, aiming to meet ~22% of national demand. Additionally, SCDP plans to launch a new 230,000 m³ oil terminal in Kribi in 2026.

The new investors are very lucky indeed. The LTH have waited for 6 years plus and some even 11 years to get to this stage.

So what we looking at;

The NJOM-3 well is an appraisal well designed to confirm and de-risk the Njonji oil discovery in the Thali license, Cameroon. Its primary goal is to provide the data necessary to transition from exploration to a fast-track production phase.

The key technical objectives are:

Confirm Reservoir Thickness: To verify the thickness of three primary reservoirs (including PS3 and PS9) originally identified by the legacy NJOM-1 well.

Test New Targets: To check for oil in four additional reservoirs identified through modern 3D seismic attribute analysis that were not penetrated by previous wells.

Establish Flow Rates: Conduct a Drill Stem Test (DST) and a Modular Formation Dynamics Test (MDT) to measure flow rates to surface and ascertain reservoir characteristics.

Resource Conversion: Successful testing aims to reclassify 18 million barrels of 2C contingent resources into 2P reserves, which is a prerequisite for securing full development financing.

Optimal Positioning: The well is located on the crest of the Njonji-1 fault block to encounter thicker reservoir sections while minimizing exposure to potential gas caps.

Future Production Asset: Upon completion, NJOM-3 is intended to be suspended as a future production well, eventually serving as one of four initial wells in the field's first development phase.

As some have pointed out already the Approval is just the start for investors and TRP. The bigger Gaines will come pre Spud and then on the confirmation of oil discovery. My Advice is to trade the spikes but stay invested.

Oppurtunities like this dont come often. Last year a share similar to TRP with only 1 Asset went from 0.02 to 0.45p. We all know 88e many years back, HE1 back few years ago. Trade the spikes

So few weeks back i mentioned the Ministry be back to normal again in few weeks. From what we heard majority over 90% of staff are back. Also don't forget the Minister that will sign off the final paperwork is the sane Minister, no change at the top. Some newbies are talking about "Approvals". Just to make it clear, we already have the Presidentisl approval ( that normally takes the longest). We were just waiting on Admin tasks. On Monday 2nd FEB the Department be back to normal again, hence we saw the rise on Friday.

So anyday now Approval could land. We all expecting it in the next 2 weeks.
