no i hope the BOD would have not sold the lifting divisions if it was going to affect the balance sheets negatively,but a billion is probably hard to refuse? and a reduction in debt will be good for the share price as will the consolodation of shares. Elster worries me many companies do this smart metering a very busy market and very competetive one would imagine, also why did the germans sell it if it was such a good earner? will be interesting to see what they buy next and where they get the money from after paying this special divi and pay down debt?? good luck all

the problem with this share is it was under 70p last Jan when it still had Eclectic and Esspresso on its books so its not cheap now is it ??
