I agree 100% your statement is bang on some of us who have some inside knowledge know what procedures are in plac and understand totally how the business is moving forward under Mr East I just wish sometimes that certain others don't have the full facts, as you say there are a lot of wrongdoings going on in business that the SFO I'm sure would want to know.Anyway on a positive note I agree that in time the sp will be in a lot better position and that is key to o either holding the dividend at these levels or being higher.Good luck all

If you want to debate the past then do so but I and many others will look in more a positive and structured way about present business and let the management and work force move forward to bring this successful product to the market place

Well Done I'm all for anyone who makes a profit either paper or sold shares but I'm afraid that I don't see this business doing that they have too many financial issues forms so I would be more careful with your holding here but hopefully you are not in to this share as much as BMN . If that is s dig at me then all I will say is that this type of deal has been going on for over 2 decades rightly or wrongly that is what was the norm in certain parts of the world . The fact that the SFO and other bodies are happy to accept that dealings are done different in other parts of the world obviously reflects in giving RR this penalty .I accept that when doing deals you have to be 100% transparent and certain people in RR have let the company down and are not here anymore.I feel that dealings made since Mr Easts appointment are 100% and moving forward that the company will be stronger and transparent for the future. We all have been done a favour by the whistleblower who brought this to the SFO s attention as if it had carried on who knows what would have happened.Anyway I'm confident that both management and products will win the day in the near future

Minoan are not in the same league as Thomson etc after all they broker holidays and more than likely use there planes to some destinations,there travel business is not worth a lot ,as stated without any future movement in a positive direction they are struggling as they have No cash reserves and little chance of getting any ,how many times to you keep going to the well before it drys up eh

It's ok mate that old news has not got me concerned as you say a lot of innuendo as for SFO they are looking for nothing 3 years and counting proves that and yes you are right about cracks in engines but yet again these people who know nothing about aero engines make certain judgement calls Clueless comes to mind . Fair point but just to clarify I was an Engineer at RR for over 27 years and had to retire early due to health reasons but am find now . I do have excellent knowledge on most Trent engines and am still interested in the product and company but due to my wife's position I can assure you I do recieve good information about certain issues but as you are aware I would never divulge any of that on here for obvious reasons , I agree with you on the last point about the contractor though it is they who like to do nothing , Goid Luck

I take it from those remarks you must of been a contractor and by the way there are an awful lot of people who do work and are passionate about the product and company so maybe you are making the right decision ex engineer eh ha ha good luck with your new career choice

All I can say to you is , thank goodness your not an Engineer your analogy of the work force makes it sound like you have had a bad experience maybe sacked but please if you don't know anything about engines don't assume leave it to the professionals as you say take it with a pinch of salt
