Fair question mate but as I’ve been holding RR these for over 30 years I have been able to keep to a good average so at present my average is £3.18 so am treading water but not worried as like other ftse 100 companies will be a different story in 12-18 months time , oh I have drawn a lot of my profits also at capital gains levels over the last 20 years so my paper holding is not as big as it was pre 2000

Skindle I know exactly what I’m saying and yes I do have a lot of know on the business not just the past but also the present as my wife is in a very senior role at the business now but obviously I’m not going to divulge certain things on a web forum , sometimes people speculate purely through conjecture and not facts and I don’t disagree that this SP and other companies in this sector could go lower but my point is simply that in the long term this business and others Will recover and the technology within the company obviously has a great value so once the dreaded virus has gone we will All see a better outcome to the share price is that better grammar for you mate LOL

Yes I agree with you about your thoughts on BP and lots of other ftse 100 companies this is short term and I’m sure your correct in the longer term view ,I see BP at present a good opportunity to day ,week trade because of issues around oil price and other issues happening at present but long term Yes this along with oil price will rise ,just looking when to get back in its all about timing mate good luck

Charlie I believe cash is king at present and would rather invest short term to gain a bigger profit especially while we have the dreaded virus around after all you could make a lot more in the short term than waiting for next dividend good luck
