After watching the Tom Palmer interview on Bloomberg a few mins ago I can’t see them letting Haveiron go

Having briefly scoured their quarter report last night I was struck by Newcrests attitude towards Haveiron compared to 3 years ago when it was the bees knees according to Sandeep now it’s consigned to the margins in this report it seems. I now have come to the same conclusion that others have said over the the last couple of months that they are prepared to let it go which I think would be marvellous for our shareholders

This cannot be anything but good for us and our SP their shareholders cannot be happy 5 per cent of Haveiron was passed up and in the scheme of things would have cost them buttons no tears shed he has his compensation and their latest report right at the end page 202-3 it covers compensation for loss of office for all directors which I thought was strange at the time but a week later it comes home to roost

I remember in the run up to Xmas 2020 all the hype and rise in share price and then the subsequent fall over the last 2 years and it’s been miserable wondering where we would end up I now see light at the end of a fairly dark tunnel for many people financially in deep in Greatland all the signs are now positive in the run up to this Xmas hopefully reflected in the share orice
